    ../dist/configure --enable-mingw --enable-cxx --disable-shared --disable-replication
    You run that in the build_unix folder, even though its for windows

    Any update? I am willing to give this another shot. I still think the approach we took for 1.5 when we just used Ubuntu to compile Windows binary is a valid approach, but we have to get through all the dependency stuff. Currently I am stuck with not having OpenSSL's windows headers.

    Not yet, I'm still having the same libdb_cxx headers missing error

    @spacecrypto
    did you try the above advice?

    Yes, still no luck

    https://github.com/marscoin/marscoin/wiki/Cross-compile-Mingw-64-for-Windows-on-Linux I put my notes together for ming64 cross compile - it's a draft however, feel free to modify / add.

    Not yet, I'm still having the same libdb_cxx headers missing error

    https://github.com/marscoin/marscoin/blob/master-1.6/build-aux/m4/bitcoin_find_bdb48.m4 most likely can't find your path to your cross compiled files

    Dijabuh
    @Dijabuh
    I think you're right. Perhaps because make install is installing DB file in /mingw64/bin/ instead of /bin/. I could try pulling in this change to the bitcoin_find_bdb48 file from the bitcoin project

    Hi all.. can we please post an update here for the benefit of those who may wish to help?
    Lennart Lopin
    @novalis78
    but we do have the Windows command line tools compiled and added to Release v.1.6 https://github.com/marscoin/marscoin/releases/tag/v1.6

    What error are you currenting investigating with the above instructions?
    Lennart Lopin
    @novalis78
    linker issue on BerkeleyDB

    @Dijabuh

    I was able to get ./configure to run to completion, although it's giving me the warning

    configure: WARNING: LRELEASE not found; bitcoin-qt frontend will not be built

    which I'm still looking into.
    When I try to run make to make the marscoin client without qt, I get a lot of compile errors, such as

    /c/msys64/mingw64/include/boost/asio/detail/impl/socket_ops.ipp:2126:38: error: cannot convert ‘boost::asio::detail::ioctl_arg_type*’ {aka ‘long unsigned int*’} to ‘__ms_u_long*’ {aka ‘unsigned int*’}

    haven't seen that before @Dijabuh -

    @spacecrypto still working on this: https://github.com/marscoin/marscoin/wiki/Cross-compile-Mingw-64-for-Windows-on-Linux

    mine compiled through, but crashed on startup. taking a closer look at that.

    I ran make with the mingw shell instead of the msys one and make got farther, but still ended up failing.

    Hey @Dijabuh -- when you compiled Electrum on windows, did you use MSYS?
    I am hitting an issue when using WSL

    I compiled the windows build on linux, haven't tried compiling it on windows.

    I was able to compile on Windows using MSYS and some PowerShell. I'll do it on a fresh machine and write instructions

    we'll be rolling out binaries today. Electrum section on the website should be ready by the end of the day
    thanks to everyone who participated in getting the Marscoin Electrum Edition developed.

    Do we have any type of guide for setting up the ElectrumX server? I tried to do this on my own tonight (since our wallet is not connecting to the main server) and I think I got it working but I cannot connect my client to it.
    image.png
    Apparent success?
    image.png
    still no connection
    Let's update this if it's not correct
    Lennart Lopin
    @novalis78
    that should have all that's needed. There is more information here: https://electrumx-spesmilo.readthedocs.io/en/latest/HOWTO.html
    I use systemd. The critical parts are in the electrumx.conf and setting up the service. The local node needs to have txindex=1 which might require a reindex if it wasn't set up that way.
