@arpit728 As they have mentioned in the chat earlier too, they are judging on the basis of two things - the idea you've proposed and the programming test.
Who has to do coding round the team leader or anyone from team can do the coding round ?
@KamilaChallengeRocket please answer Who has to do coding round the team leader or anyone from team can do the coding round ?
@priyansh360 technically you have to attempt your coding test from team leader account.
When can we expect to get the confirmation or rejection mail, also I am participating individually and if got selected can I team up with someone and work on any other idea ? @KamilaChallengeRocket@jkroks_twitter
And how much participants are approximately going to be selected ??
@dipakkr means any person can give coding test with leaders account
Hi everyone. I am professional developer based in Bangalore, India. With team of 4 members we submitted an idea today. Also have completed the coding test. We were wondering when is the latest we can hear back on the judgement. (Factoring in scenarios of getting visa and arrangement done on time if we get selected) @jkroks_twitter
@KamilaChallengeRocket would you please check your mail asap I have sent the mail with the idea
Dang, hit the challange a second time but misunderstood the request... Have fun guys, it was a pretty simple and famous algorithm but I ended up screwing up because I didn't completely understand the damn request...
On the challenge page its mentioned that all the participants need to register individually. As a team leader i registered myself, while giving names of my team member. Do my team mates also need to register (by selecting not the team leader)
@KamilaChallengeRocket So, I'm part of a team that has already registered, submitted the idea and completed the coding challenge. I see now that, all participants are also required to register individually. I've done that too, while selecting the "not a team leader" option! Nevertheless, I see a "start test" option on my home page..! As a team member (and not a leader) I need not take up the coding challenge, right? (My team leader has already completed it!)
@priyansh360 Everywhere it specifically says if you are a team leader or an individual with out a team, you need to take the coding challenge. So, yeah! But even the team members (not the leader) still see an option to take up the challenge...! So, that's a loophole, I guess!
@KamilaChallengeRocket Can you check the above bug as pointed by @ManjunathSastry ?
@srivatsa96 All the members in your team would need to register individually.
@priyansh360 It would be best if the team leader takes the test - if you think the team leader is not the best person to take the test, you may assign someone in your team to take on his behalf & let @KamilaChallengeRocket know.
@/all We will start rolling out the results this week but all the announcements will be completed by early next week. Thanks for understanding!
Can anyone help @1Droka_twitter ?
hey im new in the hackathon , i didnt register yet because i want to join/ create team
@jkroks_twitter so how it will be checked whether the same team members have given the test simultaneous times?
it decreases the overall percentile if any team reattempts the test
@jkroks_twitter thanks for the confirmation! Again, suggest you to look into the bug and clarify the same to us. I think @thakursaurabh1998 has a genuine concern too! :)
@thakursaurabh1998 Can you explain? 1 team can take a test just once -> only 1 account can be used for that purpose.
@priyansh360 Hi! Only team leader should complete the online challenge. You will see the button after registering, but don't have to do it.
@KamilaChallengeRocket I think this was the concern @jkroks_twitter . Thanks for the clarification! :)
Hi, what's happening?
is there some one need teem ? faridjafarzadeh12gmail.com is my address can write me
@jkroks_twitter quick question - How many teams/ideas can we expect to be shortlisted for the on-site round? Is there a bound number?
any word about the testcases of the third task in the challenge ?
are you sure they are all true?
we passed all of them, so yeah, probably
you didn't put any further assumption ?
I am doing a pretty straight forward algorithm trying all the possibilities
AFAIR we didn't
(put any further assumptions)
Okay thanks for the cooperation
Dear organizers. As I understand after the test assignment submission deadline (00:00 of Oct 5), we can discuss the tests here a bit?
