do we assume silence is a no?
or a ”what will happen” if I say yes?
or a “what the hell is gitter anyway?”
the short story is windows support for Meteor is currently patchy, and it’d be good to chat to anyone that is going to be using it on the day, to make sure they have it working before tomorrow.
and as previous events have taught us, it’s a good idea to get everyone to kick the tires beforehand, regardless of OS

No. We only just saw that. We will be covering the basics, and everything you need to get an app working.

I'm hoping for the more advanced content too. Have worked my way through the latest edition of Discover Meteor in anticipation of tomorrow and am particularly interested in real world insights into performance tuning, application security and design patterns/best practices. Was sold on the event based on the statements that it will bring together the past 12 months of Meteor London talks on getting the most out of the platform.

@alanshaw Yes have been working with Meteor 1.0 since pretty much the moment it was released. It's really impressed me so far!
Re: Windows? Not here. I'm still on MS-DOS 3.2 and don't have enough RAM or a graphics card to run windows properly!

Hey, it's a beginner friendly introduction to the core concepts of meteor. The topics we'll cover "officially" are listed in on the site: http://www.meteorlondon.com/#introduction-to-meteor
we'll be going through hands on workshops on those topics
