timing might be a bit weird. Looking at the clocks maybe 2200 for @DominikGuzei , ~ 1600 for you and 0600 for me would work

We can do that at some other time, for now I just keep playing with it. it will take shape over time

Sure thing. Just keep in mind that the scope of Space is wider than just Event Sourcing. space:base Readme is a good start

Hey guys, glad to see some discussion evolving! :-) I think that we should strive for a collaborative session this week, to shape the basic structure together. As @rhyslbw pointed out, space:event-sourcing is only the top of the iceberg, the Space framework can be used with any architectural style you want. But i think that it could still be beneficial to focus on event-sourcing + space:ui at the moment, to show the high-level picture first.

A diagram could help to visualise Space :-)
Maybe a Venn?

A section in the docs could show how to apply specific architectural styles, with ES, CQRS, and Flux-inspired in the front end being the first

Sounds good, it's also important to emphasize the flexibility of the framework to avoid that people disregard everything because they don't like e.g event-sourcing

Absolutely, that’s the point I’m making. I’d like to see the primary focus for the docs on the library, as it will be easier to then document how to implement ES using it
Or how to implement a Flux inspired UI

Hey guys, what do you think about Riot.js? Seems like a pretty cool new kid on the ui-rendering block and just got some Meteor integration: https://github.com/baysao/meteor-riotjs
I am thinking about additional integrations for space:ui

Just tried the new 1.2 release, a lot of stuff was broken and i couldn't get my app to work correctly.
basic things like hot-reload and and Meteor.loginWithPassword just stopped working … what a mess
but i guess i have to reinstall meteor completely, because when downgrading to 1.1.0.2 i get constraint-solver issues like this: Conflict: Constraint coffeescript@1.0.9 is not satisfied by coffeescript 1.0.6 i mean WTF??

Maybe missed an upgrade step?

I see the accounts-password package had some changes, but should be non-breaking
Dominik Guzei
@DominikGuzei
Sep 22 2015 20:52
not really, officially there is just meteor update and the upgrade guide
and it works … mostly! But for example Meteor.loginWithPassword is simply broken, without any error
it just does not do anything and the callback is never called
but someone told me i should try removing all packages and adding them step by step

Not good.
Does this return the expected result Accounts.findUserByUsername?

no, also the publications are broken i think

All the changes outline in that doc happened in the upgrade process?

i will just try and fiddle with it until it works
since my older version is also broken due to a constraint solver problem … there is only one way: forward
although i am not sure what the compatibility with all the 3rd party packages is like
