    Hi, How can I hide title bar?
    Michael Hernandez
    @miketheprogrammer
    hmm, not sure if you can

    Hi, I am very intrigued about this project. But I have encountered a problem. I have made a simple window showing google.com, which works fine. But I need to be able to copy and paste to and from the application, but neither the shortcuts work nor a context menu exists. Is this a problem I can fix, or should I look for another library? I am running go-thrust on Mac OS X Yosemite.

    @kacpersaw
    @miketheprogrammer When you use nw.js, you can hide title bar so you can add custom title bar with custom controls this feature will be great for go-thrust

    Hi can anyone help me out in building the final release of an app I made using go-thrust.. I made the build of my app and deployed in a different OS. But there go-thrust started downloading the 0.7.6 from github. Is there a way make a standalone package of my app?
    Michael Hernandez
    @miketheprogrammer
    Hi @mib4fun, this project is still in use but not actively maintained.
    Hi @melvinodsa please look at the Provisioner class
    Melvin Davis
    @melvinodsa
    thanks you @miketheprogrammer . I did a walk around and made some changes to your after forking it. I made my release...
    I may suggest that using a file directory as a parameter in the app.Start() might come handy for further customization and in the main program also it can be done like a args.. it would really be great.

    Hi! I've been looking at this, and it looks great!

    I've been looking for a way to change the URL after it's been loaded...and the best I can figure to do that is to send a message in javascript to change the browser location. It seems like there should be a better way to do that, though, looking through the source code, I don't see anything.

    Is there?

    hey, this a really great project, i used electron for some time, and i was wondering if i can get the current directory when i set RootUrl to be an html file
    it would be nice if there was a way to have a relative path for the css and js files from the html page
    Tarek Ahmed
    @tadeve
    Update: i figured it out, using "github.com/kardianos/osext"; to get the path to the executable folder , and setting RootUrl : folderpath + "path/to/html"

    hey, I'm trying to download and install go-thrust, but I think something is wrong. After running the go get command I found in the github page I get this message:

    go/src/github.com/miketheprogrammer/go-thrust/lib/spawn/download.go:20: undefined: PathNotExist

    I must have broke something IN my last BUILD I'll fix tonight

    @john-dev
    hey.. is this project still supported, even thrust itself (breach) is closed?
    are there known maintained alternative projects with the same goal maybe?
    Michael Hernandez
    @miketheprogrammer
    go-thrust is maintained, but the underlying thrust is not
    john dev
    @john-dev
    Ok, will this be problem in the future? I played around with thrust yesterday and i love it, all i'm missing is the native binding but i guess, thats an overall problem, right? you think its possible to show an example of how to implent it and let the community do the rest?
    the websocket idea is a nice workaroung but not really "production ready"
    Michael Hernandez
    @miketheprogrammer
    there is no ability to do native in the browser binding in the way we built go-thrust. we specifically built it to work over RPC. go-thrust talks to thrust via RPC. which means, you can either use our custom (thrust) js on the frontend to send basic rpc messages to the frontend or you can build websocket or http api and work from there

    Hi! I'm running into this same error @SholvaBai posted further up on the chat:

    It's only when running the windows built binary though
    I was wondering if anyone else has seen this?
    john dev
    @john-dev
    is it possible to disable window resizing?
    Jasmit Tarang
    @jaytarang92
    Anyone thought of embedding html/js files in the binary and then using thrust to display them?
    johnally
    @johnally
    @jaytarang92 should be possible. look in go-bindata-assetfs
    when using go-bindata-assetfs you essentially create a golang file called bindata_assetfs.go. then you can do a go build which will create a single binary
    bindata_assetfs.go will hold all your assets ;)
    @john-dev just started working with go-thrust. I was wondering if there was a way to prevent window resizing (e.g capturing the resize event and return a false)
    Michael Hernandez
    @miketheprogrammer
    thats what your supposed to do @jaytarang92
    @johnally Not sure if you can prevent, but you can definitely run in kiosk mode\
    Jasmit Tarang
    @jaytarang92
    Thanks guys .. I was gonna do that but the thrust_shell dependency is huge .
    @fellou89 regarding your issue is that you need to included the vendor folder that has the thrust_shell with all the dependencies in order to run your binary.
    johnally
    @johnally
    @miketheprogrammer thanks for your response. I will try the kiosk mode :)
    @jaytarang92 if you are doing a windows app, you can still upx the whole thing afterward. I got from ~9mb to ~2mb. Still a fair trade in my opinion (but that's without thrust included)
    Lex French
    @LexFrench
    Once my single binary is built what is the best way to package it for Mac or Windows platforms so that the terminal is not launched when I click on the app? Is that possible?
    Olivier Gagnon
    @hydroflame
    Ohoi, does go-thrust do offline rendering ?
    Ousmane Traore
    @otraore
    Oh hey @hydroflame
    And I think it does support it using file://
