@patrys OK, I might try and fix that, thanks! Another quick question if I may; is there currently any way to have multiple shipping methods for a single location? For example: Some customers may choose to pay more for a guaranteed next day delivery

@petedermott you can already have multiple shipping methods

@patrys Do I need to activate them somewhere or something? I've created standard and expedited options in the dashboard (both set to only allow delivery to the UK) but this does not appear to make any difference to the checkout process?

@petedermott you should get an additional shipping method choice during checkout
@petedermott it’s defined in saleor.checkout.views.__init__

@patrys I can't seem to get this to trigger. I've even created a clean installation of saleor with a single product with a couple of variants, and a couple of US based shipping options, at no point during the process am I given the option to select a shipping method.
This is using your May (v2018.05) release

@petedermott From the dashboard you should be able to define multiple shipping methods in the "Shipping methods" section.

Look at the example above, I have to shipping methods for Poland with different prices.

At the last checkout step (checkout/shipping-method/) I'm able to select between them

@elwoodxblues I'm assuming that is before the payment step? I'm sure this is set up correctly? http://recordit.co/WiF1C6j7Yt

Ahhh... Goddamit, so you need to set Shipping Required on the Product Type to get it show up (this defaults to False)

ah, right, shipping is only triggered when required
maybe we should stress this more in the docs

Maybe, alternatively default the is_shipping_required to True because I would assume that more products would require shipping than not?

Yes, I guess the default value should be True
Patryk Zawadzki
@patrys

I think both should happen, default to shipped products and better describe how checkout behaves (or provide troubleshooting steps to understand why it does not do what is expected)

Hey all, I sent a message previously that might've gotten lost. Interested to hear your thoughts. Here's a copy:

I'm gonna start making some changes to Saleor to make it more B2B friendly. Specifically, I'd like to introduce a Company model, and allow all users associated with a particular Company to share addresses, credit cards, etc. I was wondering if you're interested in building that functionality into the core. Either way, I intend to make sure that all current B2C features remain supported.

Great, sorry to bug you with more questions but I'm digging into this properly now! How do you debug the react portion of the app (namely the variant picker?) I understand that I have to use npm run build-assetsto get anything to update but is there a way to step through the process to see where data comes from?

@jfialkoff I’m not sure how all of the necessary changes fit the way Saleor works currently, please open a feature request and go into more detail about your use case, best case we can advise on how to get this merged, worst case we can give you some tips on how to maintain this outside of the tree while still being able to merge new features
