Saleor supports Login with Google and Login with Facebook
both should work given that you set the appropriate security keys
they are documented

In powershell or standard cmd? If you are using powershell, try $env:SECRET_KEY = "mysecret", with the $; if standard cmd, SET SECRET_KEY=mysecret

Hey all, I've deployed ElasticSearch on DigitalOcean (not on Docker) and am getting this error when trying to build the index: elasticsearch.exceptions.RequestError: TransportError(400, 'mapper_parsing_exception', 'No handler for type [string] declared on field [last_name]')
This seems like an issue within Saleor itself, no?

Try single quoting what you put like this: export SECRET_KEY='what you put'
also put the export before, otherwise it is not an environment variable but a simple variable (meaning Saleor won't have access to it)

@Pacu2 Thanks! Are you suggesting that I add code in get_price that call my own app? I see that get price calls calculate_discounted_price with the discount passed... would this be a place I can also hook up? Would it be easier moving forward to have some form of django signal that gets triggered at the get_price call to be able to do a custom calculation?

Hi everyone. How do you translate the attribute names stored in the product_productattribute table? At the moment I’m only using one language, so I could just import the translated attributes name, but that doesn’t seem to be the right way to do it if I at some point would like to add another language.

@simsoll_twitter i not core developer, but in docs write what at this moment only from runtime. This feature in process

@simsoll_twitter we've just added model translation docs, take a look https://saleor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/architecture/translations.html
@ctzkane That's right, I think you could pass an additional argument, like quantity to get_price function and handle the logic in there

@mmmsvit_gitlab, @Pacu2 Thanks for your answers. I have now read through the docs, but as I understand it model translations doesn’t solve my problem. Using model translations I can translate properties known to a given model (eg. “name” for the Product model class). However, I need to translate the product attribute names, which is not available on any model - only stored as rows (slug and name) in the product_productattribute table. For instance, I have a product type called Book, which have a product attribute called Author. I want to translate “Author”, but as I see it this is not possible using model translations, as the ProductAttribute model only has slug and name properties.
... the product attributes are "too dynamic" as I see it :)

I might have misunderstood something, but there's a model called ProductAttributeTranslation which would store the translated properties(eg. name) of the ProductAttribute, isn't that exactly what you're looking for?

We're keeping a ForeignKey relation between ProductAttribute and ProductAttributeTranslation, so one can be accessible from the other. Models displayed on the storefront should have their ModelTranslation counterparts ready, we've merged it couple of days ago.
