I'd suggest a smoke test in your build pipeline. I burned about 5 hours trying to figure out the problem ;) But thank you!
Btw, I really like what I see about the MLDB.
Sorry about that. Thanks for your feedback.
I'm just about ready to tell everyone I know, to start using MLDB, to become productive immediately.
hi @mldbai , I see you guys are all together continue working on another cool product not part of RTBkit. Our team @venediktov@abushev and @mrbald would love to learn how we could integrate your product to vanilla-rtb . Perhaps there is some room for cooperation ? You can ping us on Gitter or send email to email@example.com . Best , vanilla-team.
I'm trying to wrap my head around mldb. Correct me if I'm wrong, the database portion is analogous to key-value store. Is that correct?
the value could be a dataset, which can be accessed through REST or SQL queries which can conceptually pass a DAG. Is that correct?
I am tring to get started with MLDB have I come to the right place
wow this is not an active place
Does MLDB SQL support inner joins?
It does. However, I wouldn't use it for anything more than toy projects as there is no longer a team behind it to support users.
@jeremybarnes interesting, did the company dissolve? Was it an acquihire?
@jeremybarnes you wrote most of it didn't you? I'd be curious, did you create a virtual machine and a custom on-disk B-tree implementation? I'm thinking of sqlite here, was that an inspiration at all
is this group still active ? needed help to get started
@FinchPowers Are you guys active with this ?
Hello I'm interested in modifing the source code for use with my database administration course for my masters at Syracuse University.
Do you have any improvement suggestions or do you feel it to be practicle integrating it into a DBMS?
Hey bot you suggesting I create a startup landing page or something like that?
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.
can we apply machine learning algorithms for database issues by using their logs?
Which properties (CA, CP or AP) MLDB support according to CAP theorem?
is this project still alive?
Hey everyone.. this is such a fantastic project. Sad to see there is no activity
Tried compiling from source but getting a lot of errors with the newer C++ libraries (Boost et al) :( Could anyone help? @jeremybarnes
Reactivating this channel; I'll endeavour to respond to any messages if ever someone wants to write us ;)
