    but that does not happen often
    despite that - they might provide the server for remote operations, for improving the compiler
    and the runtime

    Really the big issue for iot is gonna be OS
    For easy cases (ie Linux) everything should just work

    I see
    so there is a matrix somewhere, which reflects combinations of RTOSs and archs, for Mono?

    Who is able to assist with this https://github.com/SciSharp/RaspberrySharp ?

    :wave: hello!
    I know this library, maybe I can help
    Иван Сердюк
    @oceanfish81_twitter
    well, I wonder if we can suggest porting to some other boards

    I know this library, maybe I can help

    Did you use one for any specific target?

    I see that is generally about Mono-on-PI
    I think we can try to build ClojureCLR and IronPython 2, 3 for it
    and publish an instruction

    Just checking to see if this works... Was referred over her by @netonjm , hoping to find out some information about debugging raspberry pi's with VS4M. Currently in a bind where we need VS4M 2019 for other projects in our solution but can't debug/deploy .net app to raspberry pi.

    hello @stevetara and welcome!
    Yesterday I updated the extension to work over VS4Mac 8.3+, you try it directly from the Extensions Gallery in Beta Channel

    @stevetarara
    Hi Jose, thanks a lot, that's great... I'll try it out tonight/tomorrow AM.
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    happy to help :smile:

    @stevetarara
    @netonjm I can't see the Xamarin iot extension in any of the extension repos, any idea why that wouldn't be showing up?
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    in what update channel are you working on?
    stevetarara
    @stevetarara
    stable
    I tried preview also, still don't see it
    I see the IoT extras extension but that's it from the iot side of things
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    give me a sec to ensure all is in place :smile:
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    could you try again @stevetarara?
    Ensure you are in the Preview channel
    stevetarara
    @stevetarara
    great, I saw the new preview package and it installed ok. I'll pull my repo and try it out in the morning, I'm one a brand new install of Catalina and I have to finish installing some other tools first. Thanks for the speedy help. Appreciate it!
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    Nice! tell me if it works well for you, and some feedback it will be appreciated :smile:
    stevetarara
    @stevetarara
    I definitely will, thanks again.

    @netonjm I tried out the extension and it's working. There are a couple of things I've noticed, not sure if it's in your control or not. After entering the IP address of the remote device the login box seems to jump to corners of the screen. In my case I have a couple monitors and it will jump to the top right corner. Sometimes it stays on the same monitor, other times it goes to a seperate monitor which is annoying, but not a big deal. The one thing I
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    good to now :smile:

    cont - The one thing I would like to see is more feedback when attempting to login tot he remote device, sometimes it fails without any UI to tell you why.
    Other than that it's working as good as the previous version, maybe even faster! Now that it's in the preview stage does that automatically set it up to be merged into stable for the next release?
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    I don’t think so… :disappointed: Unfortunately, at the moment I am only to keep it and I can only do it in free time, so I suppose I will keep it in preview indefinitely… right now :smile:
    Steve Tarara
    @StephenTarara_twitter
    ok, thanks for getting that up there and spending the time to do it.
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    no problem! hope you enjoy! :smile:
    Now I will look to announce it on twitter, surely someone else is interested.
    stevetarara
    @stevetarara
    Hey @netonjm - hope things are going well. I've been using v8.3.4 of the Internet Of Things Extension flawlessly for a few months and now have a colleague trying to install it in VS4M 2019 and we can't see it in the preview builds. Is it still available?
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    hello stevetarara, in theory it should be!
    mmm for some reason the extension is not publishing correctly
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    It should be work now :-)
    It seems it was not correctly published, now it’s up for 8.3 and 8.4 (in this there is warning but nothing to worry about)
    stevetarara
    @stevetarara
    Great thanks...
    Jose Medrano
    @netonjm
    A pleasure!
