@ArsenShnurkov I didn’t say that I just asked whats wrong with NUnit for him to say "The only modern unit testing framework for .NET"
@hellboy81 usually unresolved breakpoint means that type/method was not loaded yet
@hellboy81 right click on breakpoint->properties and change action to “Print trace” or something like that
or use System.Diagnotics.Debug.Writeline
@ArsenShnurkov about PPDB+Cecil, it’s used by MonoDevelop for debugging + for Linker...

Log is still NOT AVAILABLE in Application output
Only Loaded assembly
Thread started
etc..
Therefore we are needing unit tests
we no need a buggy debugger
we are need a full control...

Hello there. I was trying to install monodevelop >5 on Linux Mint, yet if I download it, I get 4.0.12, which won't open and gives no error message in the console. Am I missing something here?

@masdarra did you add the mono repositories to apt?

No, thank you. I'll try that.

Okay, that worked.
But it still crashes a few seconds after launching.
I get the shape of a full-sized window, a shape of a pop-up sized window and then it all just dissapears. No errors in the console.
