I haven't been doing much specifically for this project to be honest. I have some improvements to the colliders though (optimization and bug fixes)
I'm going to get some stuff done tonight after I finish an assignment
I don't know what anyone else is doing

Alright, I made a cannon class. It's a sprite, so you add it to the ship at a certain position, give it a base firing angle, a threshold angle that it needs to be within, and a distance
then feed it a point, and it will try to fire at the point if its in range / correct angle
it doesnt actually fire anything, but the detecting whether it can fire works right now
ill add firing later

So you can also do a raycast to see if an enemy is in sight
I didn't implement raycasting against circles though
just polygons

Also, in case it is useful
The camera class can generate "Camera Bounds"
It generates a rectangle in the world space that contains the screen
and you can offset it too
It's useful for culling things or whatnot

Aight, I did a quick and dirty projectile system for the ship, right now it keeps trying to fire at the click point, but you should get the idea of how we could apply it
