Hello, i have a website where we are using this CIMAGE script
recently we have activated SSL on our website, the website is working fine but the images are not working and giving this error:

[img.php]

img.php: Uncaught exception:

Failed retrieving url, details follows: Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognized.

#0 /var/www/html/assets/img.php(804): CHttpGet->doGet()

#1 /var/www/html/assets/img.php(1851): CRemoteImage->download('https://mywebsite...')

#2 /var/www/html/assets/img.php(1879): CImage->downloadRemoteSource('https://mywebsite...')

#3 /var/www/html/assets/img.php(5553): CImage->setSource('https://mywebsite...', '/var/www/html/a...')

#4 {main}

what could be the reason?

@asif-sk
let me check
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
Check if you can download the image through curl on the server. Perhaps you will see the same error there (not only related to PHP, perhaps also related to curl).
asif-sk
@asif-sk
thanks the issue is now resolved
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
Nice.
asif-sk
@asif-sk
the certificate bundle file was not included in ssl.conf

@mosbth I'm seeing a weird "must set src attribute" error, even though ?src=* is in the URL
Using imgp.php
Any ideas?
Looked at code and can see you're using get('src') which is not something I'm familiar with
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
How does the url look like?
this all seems ok
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
hmm.
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
I literally just have imgp.php in a folder, that's the "bundled version", so shouldbe ok, right?
I mean, no other dependencies?
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
yeh..
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
But its not displayed correctly and the error message is a bit odd.
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
ok, this is odd, not sure if some cache thing
but I can see this ok:
but this, no:
only difference is order of querystrings....?!
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
The order should not matter.
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
no, that's what I would assume
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
I can now see both your links of POMC02603.jpg, one of them needed to be recreated in the cache, by adding &nc or &no-cache. That recreates the image in the cache.
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
ok...
so there's something odd about the cache maybe
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
Yep
The first image is also okey now (I recreated it using &nc).
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
k
There are things appearing in the cache directoy
so it's writeable ok
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
Hmmm.
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
It's new hosting so I'm a little unfamiliar with it
Mikael Roos
@mosbth
Clear the cache dir, manually by removing the files in it? Perhaps odd owner/rights (guessing).
Mike Ellis
@m1ke_ellis_twitter
Ok, will try that
ok, done
I think that might have nailed it
Hm, maybe not
I guess I can just use &nc
would imagine serverside caching would deal with speed anyway
