I believe it's new, yeah. They announced it a while back but have only started rolling it out recently. Need to download their installer from the website instead of using brew. I've tried it and it's such a brilliant idea.

Hey @oliversauter - I think so. The main reason to include them early is that one of our decision criteria will be whether the session seems like it will be well facilitated! But I think adding in additional help in the run up can only be a good thing :)
And - importantly - YAY thank you for submitting a proposal!
@/all you're all mega encouraged to submit your ideas - they can be as big or as small as you'd like! I'm super happy to chat more if you haven't been to MozFest before and have questions :grinning:

@auremoser: Let me know if you give it a whirl. I want to test the whole encrypted file-sharing system. Their setup seems kinda fascinating: you mount and unmount remote drives as needed.

My UK visa expires before MozFest and given the stress I’m going through with my US visa application, I’m not sure I’m going to bother applying for a UK one until next year.

yes! also, I might be doing something wrong @RaoOfPhysics but i don't think the filesystem is out, I've the client installed and it's a bunch of placeholder stuff. maybe that's just the test/demo though

@auremoser: Oh! No idea why that is. You’re on the latest version, yes, with the rudimentary GUI solution? The menubar client is kinda buggy. I received an e-mail from them inviting me to try the filesystem, so maybe they haven’t rolled it out to all users yet.

If you have the latest binary downloaded, and your keybase client is running (check with $ keybase ctl), then you should be able to open that directory and see the file in it.
