@S0rc3r3r
hmmm strange
using the rest call it works
I have lastSeen values
1458906180533 are in epoch time right?
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@S0rc3r3r yes with milliseconds
S0rc3r3r
@S0rc3r3r
pfff...you are changing the API so often :(
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@S0rc3r3r I am really sorry for that, want to make more professional API. after this release I will not do any major change in API.
:(
@S0rc3r3r sensor id 0 belongs to the GW, we should fix issues in MySensors
@S0rc3r3r are you using API heavily? do you have your own GUI?
S0rc3r3r
@S0rc3r3r
quite...it's for my android app
I'm using API in order to retrieve sensor data and stats
but there's no problem you do your thing and I'll just adjust my code
but it can be very frustrating from time to time
but we always adapt
:)
so can you please look over the Last Seen issue?
you also get rid of SendRaw Message endpoint... and much more
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@S0rc3r3r thank you so much! I will have a look on lastseen issue
it is only on node right?
in this release we may need to change some API's. I have to work on that. But from this release we might have more stable API's. As MyController just start growing needs some changes time to time. I hope from now(after 0.0.3.Aplha2 release) we may not change API's heavily.
@S0rc3r3r we have to support for sendRAw message. going to introduce new API's for raw messages
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@S0rc3r3r you can share your android app with others also, if want. It is up to you
S0rc3r3r
@S0rc3r3r
lastseen on the sensor
regarding the app I will when it will be more flexible
right now all the ui resources and screens are hardcoded
so that will feet my needs
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@S0rc3r3r oh ok, let me know when you ready. I will create a repo under https://github.com/mycontroller-org
thank you!
S0rc3r3r
@S0rc3r3r
also using this epoch time approach... in graphs
times are displayed in miliseconds
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
in graph we are using epoch time only, there is no change. where do you see this change?
Alex Manusovich
@manusovich
Hi @jkandasa, do we have any way to change sensors values trough rest api?
thanks
Alex Manusovich
@manusovich
@jkandasa do we have request example for this updateSensorVariable request?
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@manusovich you mean send payload?
Alex Manusovich
@manusovich
yes
No. I want just change sensor value
I don't want to send payload to actual node
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@manusovich if you update sensorvariable value will be sent
Alex Manusovich
@manusovich
do we have api for just change value in MC ?
Jeeva Kandasamy
@jkandasa
@manusovich for sensorvariable values, for now no
do you have any real requirement? If yes, we may consider
regards mycontroller-org/mycontroller#160
Alex Manusovich
@manusovich
Ok. I am trying to connect amazon dash button as sensor to MC
I am catching when button has been pressed already in my shell script which is sniffer network for any requests from Amazon Dash Button
So this part is done
now i need call somehow MC and update value there
