v1.0.0 of raspi-i2c, the Raspi.js module that will provide I2C support in raspi-io, has been published! Huge thanks to @fivdi for writing pretty much all of it.

Just a little more testing, and a new version of raspi-io will be released with I2C support, I suspect by the end of the week at the latest

I typically just say one version back, although admittedly I’m not very good about testing old versions

Ok, because the device tree parameters that are now added to /boot/config.txt were introduces with Raspbian 2015-01-31 which is one version back.

Gotcha. I guess we’ll see how many people complain that things aren’t working on an older version. I’m OK with waiting to see if it’s a big deal or not before trying to implement something
