turns out I don’t have any I2C devices that are supported by J5 😮

I’m feeling good about it. I tested raspi-i2c across multiple pis and node versions…and I doubt that raspi-io would break any of that since it’s just a wrapper

cool thing with the mpu6050 is its pretty easy to look at the j5 code and just issue the setup write request, then the reads and parse the bits

yeah, they're like 5 or 6 bucks
the oleds are usually less than 10
and of course the tinybots are a buck each soon as I make a sketch for them :)

I has a sad: @fivdi there are merge conflicts, and they look kinda nasty
oh wait, the fix is easy, just some package.json dep versions, but it still needs to be updated

Great to hear that the tests with an mpu6050 and oled display worked :smile: I'll take a look at the merge conflict tonight.
