Is Raspian the only supported distro right now?
I have a Pi 2 coming today and trying to decide what OS to put on it

Man, the timing for this is perfect for me... congrats, and thanks @bryan-m-hughes and @fivdi!

I now eagerly await the documentation as I'm a bit stuck, but am happy to wait for it.

fwiw: I have a raspberry pi 2 with an ADC Pi that has an IR distance sensor (2Y0A21) wired up to it if that would help with any kind of testing... just let me know what you need me to do.

@remybach thanks for the offer. The best thing you can do is just try and build something :) Let us know if you get it to work and if you encounter any issues or annoyances along the way
@frxnz it’s the only officially supported distro, although it may work on others (I haven’t tested it).

Ok, good to know. Maybe I'll test it on another distro for you :D

I just opened #24 about this, we should support others

I was thinking about trying Ubuntu, just for fun. If there are any others you'd like me to try before I start on my project let me know

Ubuntu would be a great one to try! I think there’s a good chance it will become the primary distro eventually
It’s not called from anywhere, but still

Haha
I also have an A+ I'm not doing anything with. I can throw Pidora on there and test things out

awesome! I don’t have an A+, so that would be great to test on

@bryan-m-hughes: well as I mentioned, I'm a bit stuck with what I'm currently building, but I think I must just be missing something that the documentation will likely clear up (I'm a total noob to this electronics stuff so that doesn't help either).

@remybach what type of documentation do you need?

Ugh. Off to a bad start. Probably should have checked how much disk space I needed first
