@Kvaz1r I just wanted to let you know, there's a fairly large change that I've been gearing up for: https://github.com/nelsam/vidar/milestone/2
it may take some effort to ensure that vidar continues to work on Windows during this time, but I'll be making my best effort
I'll try to get automated builds for Windows running before I start that work

look interesting.
plugins will make loading modules more de-centralized?

yeah
we'll be able to allow people to write plugins for ruby, for example
or a plugin to automatically vendor new dependencies
e.g. some kind of ctrl-shift-d or something that runs GOPATH=project/vendor go get ${some-dependency}
things that I probably wouldn't use, but someone else might
they'd just install the plugin binary to (for example) $HOME/.config/vidar/plugins and the feature would be available
it also allows things like supporting ruby or python via plugins

the only thing that's annoying is that it's going to be linux-only in go 1.8
:worried:
I know they almost had OS X support for 1.8, too, but it was pulled due to bugs just before feature freeze for 1.8 happened
hopefully, both OS X and Windows support will be in 1.9

I think I could finish it in a weekend, maybe two
I won't be adding features - just moving everything out to plugins
