Asynchronous AJAX does not work. No error handling, although dump () works correctly.

nette/tracy#246 problem?

We are using Tracy to help us survive in a legacy Spaghetti PHP app. Works like a boss. Thanks for that. Let's call this application A.

Now some external application (call it application B) is calling an existing endpoint from application A by AJAX (CORS).

If Tracy is enabled on application A the AJAX response for application B contains the Tracy script starting with <!-- Tracy Debug Bar -->. For application A everyting is fine and works as expected, even for the AJAX calls internally.

But this embedded script makes application B fail as the JSON is invalid.

Is there any way I can prevent Tracy to generate it's output in this AJAX (CORS) context?

What I'm not getting either is how does this <!-- Tracy Debug Bar --> gets from removed from the response if the application is the same?

Do you send a propel application/json header? I was assuming that Tracy is not showed up.

@f3l1x. Thanks for the pointer. The response was indeed missing the Content-Type header.

Ahoj, nevím zda to tu ještě nějak žije, ale nová verze tracy 2.6 používá nově strict_types. Není to spíš na skok na 3.0? U ostatních (např. utils, caching) to tak bylo.

I want to start using Tracy. Right now I just want the better error pages in my dev environments and the tracy bar, but I want error logging to remain as-is (the default php error logging)... is there a way to tell Tracy to still output to the error log? Eventually I'll migrate to using it for logging as well, but I don't have the time right now

Do you mean the /var/log/php/error.log? Tracy has its own in the log directory.
