    Hello, welcome to ask any question! Let's talk about the serialization.

    @wklm

    Hey @neuecc :)

    First of all, may thanks for this awesome library. I have a small issue.

    for this string:

     "{"type":"done","side":"buy","order_id":"7d05f0e6-e162-41e8-ae2b-48ab5e150153","reason":"filled","product_id":"BTC-USD","price":"18380.00000000","remaining_size":"0","sequence":4600900789,"time":"2017-12-19T10:45:14.229000Z"}"

    I'm getting this exception:

    Utf8Json.JsonParsingException: expected:':', actual:'', at offset:160
       at Utf8Json.JsonReader.ReadIsNameSeparatorWithVerify()
       at Utf8Json.JsonReader.ReadPropertyNameSegmentRaw()
       at Utf8Json.Formatters.Gdax\.OrderMessageRawFormatter1.Deserialize(JsonReader& , IJsonFormatterResolver )

       at Utf8Json.JsonSerializer.Deserialize[T](Byte[] bytes, IJsonFormatterResolver resolver)
       at Utf8Json.JsonSerializer.Deserialize[T](String json, IJsonFormatterResolver resolver)

       at Gdax.parse@50.Invoke(Byte[] buffer) in /home/wojtek/Desktop/smieci/fsharp/utf8json-fs-ncore/Gdax.fs:line 52

    Not sure, what's wrong, the string seems to be correct. Would you have any hints?

    neuecc/Utf8Json#13
    The issue mentions that you need to build the UniversalCodeGenerator from source.
    ChiuanWei
    @chiuan
    @DSilence thanks..let me try...
    ChiuanWei
    @chiuan
    oh no...i have install the .net core2.1 so it build failed

    @DSilence
    Are you sure you are building Utf8Json.UniversalCodeGenerator project? Not Utf8Json.CodeGenerator?
    ChiuanWei
    @chiuan
    @DSilence ............................. oh my god... i build the wrong one..

    what's wrong with this...........😭
    Dzmitry Safarau
    @DSilence
    No idea :) Perhaps you could run the UniversalCodeGenerator directly using dotnet run with parameters?

    have your guys use this project to hotfix the c# in Unity3D ? https://github.com/Ourpalm/ILRuntime
    i wanna make this Utf8Json was worked on this.
    Dzmitry Safarau
    @DSilence
    i personally have not used Utf8Json with Unity. Perhaps @neuecc could comment.
    ChiuanWei
    @chiuan
    @DSilence you dont need json ?
    Dzmitry Safarau
    @DSilence
    I'm not a Unity user. I use Utf8Json for web backend development only.
    SimantoR
    @SimantoR
    @chiuan Are you trying to add Utf8Json to Unity3D?
    ChiuanWei
    @chiuan
    @SimantoR sorry for reply too late...so busy year...
    yes. using in unity3d
    SimantoR
    @SimantoR
    Well Unity shouldn’t interfere with Utf8json as a whole. What are you using it for?

    hello! i'm new to using Utf8Json and am curious if there is a way throw an exception when Deserialization fails? Currently, the Deserialize method will always complete successfully, even if the data passed into Deserialize doesn't conform to the Type passed into the generic argument. What happens is if I pass in data that conforms to Type B, but am telling Deserialize to use Type A, it will spit out a Type A object with default values, instead of throwing an Exception or failing to Deserialize.
    It's quite possible that I have something left to configure on my end, so I'm hoping someone can assist :)

    Hey! I recently stumbled upon this library and I was wondering if there's a type like JSON.NET's JsonToken where I can keep the data raw and deserialize afterwards

    Hi! :wave: do you know if it's possible incorporate async IAsyncEnumerable<object> result in UTF8Json response in a controller? Or what alternatives do you recommend in order to send data stream async IAsyncEnumerable<object> directly to browser? Thanks!

    Hi!
    Is there a way to use this library by getting the nodes by their keys? Ex:
    var name = node["name"];

    hi, @neuecc, would you like to give up the maintenance of your excellent library to the community? there are already some forks because nobody answers to PRs and issues
