Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
weird .. never seen such error
Andreas Wilm
@andreas-wilm
Did you try just the IP?
As a workaround I mean
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
Yes I accepted Warning: Permanently added 'ec2-34-253-184-181.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com,34.253.184.181' (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
yes, that's a standard warning, just fine
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
Huh yes, sure, I was trying to answer @andreas-wilm .
Nonetheless I can't connect.
Andreas Wilm
@andreas-wilm
What if you just try ssh 34-253-184-181
sorry with dots obviously
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
Thanks @andreas-wilm I works:
ssh hack17@34.253.184.181
Andreas Wilm
@andreas-wilm
Okay cool. Still weird though
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
I guess that my URL was longer than UNIX_PATH_MAX which should be 104.
I wonder why noone else got the issue
Andreas Wilm
@andreas-wilm
Hey, what's the best way to report typos in the documentation?
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
pull-requests? :-)
Andreas Wilm
@andreas-wilm
Is the doc part of the main repo?
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
yes
here
Andreas Wilm
@andreas-wilm
Okay
Phil Ewels
@ewels
Hi all - anyone interested in the HTML work - we're sat on the terrace on floor 3
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
HTML? what you do?
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
we just moved to Json :)
Hugues Fontenelle
@huguesfontenelle
the "terrace" part sounded interesting
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
nap on open air ? :)
Phil Ewels
@ewels
:zzz:
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
Nope. Hardworking
in front of the sea
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
Hi Paolo, do you need to run "nextflow log" instead of "nextflow run"?
or after?
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
no,no, like log
not in place of run
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
ok so you are thinking about a template to convert the information in json, isn't it?
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
yes, image you have a file like
{
  "process": "${task.process}",
  "cpus": "${task.cpus}",
   etc
}
or
<html>
<body>
<table>
<tr> <td>process </td> <td>${task.process} </td> </tr>
... blah blah
</table>
</body>
</html>
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
ok so you already have support for json? How we can make it?
Phil Ewels
@ewels
The downside is that people have to run a second command after the pipeline finishes, which is not so ideal
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
PS: no html please! :)
Phil Ewels
@ewels
HTML! HTML! :tada:
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
you see, this is why we need a custom report .. :)
Luca Cozzuto
@lucacozzuto
:)
I agree with NOT re-running nextflow (if possible)
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
@ewels no, I'm not suggesting to use a separate command to do that
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
the run should be able to do that
Phil Ewels
@ewels
@pditommaso ok then I'm confused :)
Matthieu Foll
@mfoll
how?
Phil Ewels
@ewels
@pditommaso "no,no, like log not in place of run "
