quite easy to check
nextflow -version
but I guess you are using a version prior 0.24.x
if you update to the latest version your example will work as you are expecting
to update use the command

Hello @pditommaso We are setting up Travis and CircleCI for CAW
We have a container for each process approach (because for some process we do need different version of openjdk)

@pditommaso

ok

And sometimes in the tests we have an error like Tag 1.1 not found in repository docker.io/maxulysse/snpeffgrch37
Not always the same repository, and the tag exists on dockerhub

umm .. where? travis or circle ?
Maxime Garcia
@MaxUlysse
Mar 29 2017 15:02
Here it's Circle
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
Mar 29 2017 15:03
hard to say, I've never seen this error message
Maxime Garcia
@MaxUlysse
Mar 29 2017 15:04
OK
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
Mar 29 2017 15:04
however circle 1.0 uses a very old docker version
you should try with the 2.0 version if it's better
otherwise I would try a different registry, such as quay or AWS

OK, not very important as we have Travis that is working, but I thought it was worth mentionning
Thanks a lot

Yes, but with Circle I had more cpus and memory, so it was easier to set up

@mes5k
Mar 29 2017 15:49
Hi Paolo, yes we figured it out and it was a bug on our side - poor refactoring of a channel that caused it to hang.
Paolo Di Tommaso
@pditommaso
Mar 29 2017 15:49
ahah
Mike Smoot
@mes5k
Mar 29 2017 15:50
Figuring out which channel is hanging might still be a useful feature - should I open a request for that?

Mar 29 2017 15:51
good, I've sketched a possible way to dump them but not sure it would be useful in this form
I need to work more on that
Mike Smoot
@mes5k
Mar 29 2017 15:52
Not a big priority for us at the moment, but I definitely think it could be useful.
