Is there anybody with reputation greater than 1500 on Stackoverflow able to create a nextflow tag ?

Hi Paolo, I was looking for something in nxf docs, but I was not able to find it, although I think it is possible to do it

I have a code as with 2 process and I would like that process 1 is always run will process 2 is only run when a parameter is set by the user, is this possible?

there are several ways, maybe the easiest is with a when: condition on the second process

well if you have A -> B -> C -> D
if you put a when on B
you don't need to put on C and D
if B is not executed, neither C and D are

Hi, I'm trying to set up CAW to work with AWS Batch
But I do think I'm lacking some information in the blog post or even in the documentation
I manage to submit some jobs, but they all failed, and the error message is really not helping, so I'm afraid I did not configure the AWS Batch thingy right
Maybe I haven't looked enough into the custom AMI

1000 GB

And what was the type ?
I think 1000 GB is a good starting point to be sure ;-)

The hash of an input file depends on its contents only, not its path or its name, correct?
Paolo Di Tommaso

nope, by default full path + timestamp + size
if you use cache deep on the content

I was wondering because I came across a script which doesn't name its output deterministically
but I can just edit the script
