That's awesome. @rsuchecki , Is it possible to use aws profile (as I need to use 2 aws account for ananlysis) under $HOME/.nextflow/config? Could you please give me an example for usage? Thanks.

@pditommaso I'm curious, why does into use a closure, and not a list of channels? Is there a case for dynamic computation of the channels? Another thing I wonder about is that I thought a closure 'returns' the value associated with the last statement.

because you can not reference a variable w/o having declared before
instead the closure magic allows you to do that

Aha, cool, thanks! And the semi-colon separated list of channels, is there some magic associated with that? It does not look like a normal sequence of statements ...

it does, statements are separated by semicolon
list items by comma

the outcome of the closure seems to be a list of channels. I have some difficulty phrasing the question -- what I wrote clumsily above was that generally the result of a closure is the value from the last statement. The other statements in into then look like no-ops. So I wondered if there was any special magic so that all those statements apparently have their value passed on somehow. But uh, I probably am out of my depth and a lost cause ...

Hey, can one have access to log from beforeScript? It doesn't seem to work here
beforeScript = { log.info "ABCD" } just crashes
