    I have bought ngbook 2 long back. How to get latest Angular 9 version?

    I think only Angular 8 update was free for ngBook 7 purchase. ngBook v9 has to be bought.

    Music Serach App - Routing - no instructions on how to use the spotify app?
    anyone know what needs setting up ?

    Hello. Is there are physical ng-book for Angular 9 I can buy?
    johnmchale
    @johnmchale
    No Nazarion. Angular changes veery 6 months, so it;s not worth their while printing it sinxce it would be out of the date.
    There was one version for sale on Amazon, but I think it was for Angular 6 or 7.
    Your best bet is to get a couple of large screen monitors.
    Nazarion
    @Nazarion
    Or a book reader device.
    johnmchale
    @johnmchale
    On the left monitor (27"), but the latest ng-book2 and open up the .PDF in PAGE-DISPLAY + TWO_PAGE_SCROLLING to reda the book
    in the right monitor, have Visual Studio code open up
    That's my tip!
    I meant 'buy' the latest ng-book2 for Angular 9
    Nazarion
    @Nazarion
    Nice tip, but I think books are hard to read on computer monitor.
    johnmchale
    @johnmchale
    not on my 27" monitor :)
    Nazarion
    @Nazarion
    Maybe you are using dark theme for reading?
    johnmchale
    @johnmchale
    nope, I prefer the light mode (also for coding)
    there is another forum that has just become available - worth checking out ==> https://newline.co/discord/ng-book

    inquirer is a solution, but i don't like framework. i also reviewed docs readline, repl, tty, there is no such api. only rl.question is maybe one, but it is not select/options menu.

    Hi everyone,
    I have a question about an example from the book:
    this.http.get (queryUrl) .map (item => {...});
    But the "get" method of "HttpClient" returns an observable, how can I call the map method? In fact I have an error!
    Thanks

    Hi everybody....i start reading the book, in the same time i practice. but when i come to part where i build the (angular-reddit)..the part where should add semantic-ui. the authors mention that i must to copy some files (
    • src/index.html
    • src/styles.css
    • src/app/vendor
    • src/assets/images)....can anyone help me what i must to do?? where should i add these files
    learnsimpley
    @learnsimpley
    in src folder/ replace indexhtml,style.css,and add src/app/ add vender, under src/assets/images folder you can add or replace or copy paste from the source.

    @fabioven_gitlab hi
    as you said http get returns observable. But map method is from rxjs library which can process each value emitted by observable and returns observable. After map(), one should call subscrible() this.http.get(queryUrl).map().subscribe()
    rajeshThappeta
    @rajeshThappeta

    Ex: import { Component, OnInit } from '@angular/core';
    import { NgForm } from '@angular/forms';
    import { of } from 'rxjs';
    import { map } from 'rxjs/operators';

    @Component({
    selector: 'app-root',
    templateUrl: './app.component.html',
    styleUrls: ['./app.component.css']
    })

    export class AppComponent implements OnInit{

    ngOnInit(){
    let obs=of(1,2,3,4,5);
    obs.pipe(map(x=>x+10)).subscribe(v=>{
    console.log(v)
    })
    }

    }
