@jasoncalabrese did you see my android-uploader bug #14? With the wiki's pointing to the android-studio now, want to ensure people don't get derailed with the version conflict.

hmm, @gregwaehner why is there a gradle.build file, we are not using gradle yet

I agree. but if you follow the "wiki" instructions... download zip file from android studio, do the import... it creates one... and it gets the error.

I did "all the updates" so my version of AS is 0.8.2...
is there a way to post a Word doc here? I took screenshots, etc. when I was going thru

oh, is this windows only?
might be worth thinking about splitting things into common vs vendor specific
and then specializing into windows quickstart guide
vs mac quickstart guide
worth thinking through how the original docs work for everyone
mmm
mmm
if there's something with a working gradle somewhere
I'll just get travis to pump out apks
no need to compile then
jasoncalabrese @jasoncalabrese Going to release beta apps to the pebble app store. Will use new guids, so people can safely test it out

it's fine, I published beta apps we can take our time testing them out, and leave the old version in place

we can leave the release branch/PR open as long as needed, I think any fixes we need will be on the c side
was important to get the publishing done before today's bundling, then we can make quick changes to the c code

That the current published pebble app
a good indicator of system usage

@bewest
Aug 06 2014 23:30
yeah
lines up with github estimates fairly well
solid 300+ github forks
pebble is funny; it's so easy to install I think a lot of people do
without even searching for watchfaces

that number would not include any of the people using mmol.
Jason Calabrese
@jasoncalabrese
Aug 06 2014 23:39

Ben West
@bewest
Aug 06 2014 23:40

I saw some examples using more sophisticated settings features... it's a separate C thing to fetch/retrieve settings
I think the more advanced technique is required in order to merge all teh features into one
wasn't sure though
using the C settings api to sync with the js, and with the localstorage
will have to double check on that again soon
see what it might take to get everything merged... :)
