so Jason and Scott were at the FDA meeting in October. You might remember Courtney clearly saying that if we started bolusing/messing with insulin, the conversation would be very different
and yet, the most useful thing to everyone would be a way to get the right amount of insulin better
ie bolusing... I'd like to set up a project with FDA that works in tandem with nightscout, but not identified as nightscout
not sure if you diyps fellows have considered sponsoring something with FDA or have already begun

we haven't begun those discussions yet, but I agree we should do so, and that it shoudn't be affiliated with nightscout

No, but given the conversation and direction that the CarePortal app took (with the "CoPilot Wizard" stuff), I think that might be a good sync?
Ben, have you caught up with all the threads related to that convo? There were a couple yesterday & today
I'd like this to be something that's not necessarily #DIYPS, either, so we can continue working on that for me. Whether that ends up being this app/not as the root of discussion, TBD.

hmmm, yes, there's been parallel discussions on foundation list
I like idea of being associated
just not exact identity... like nightscout is an org, a process
then there's the webapp and other stuff
those can all be separate projects
with same sponsor
or same co-hort of sponsors

late
I have choir tonight
my problem there
is as kevin put it, "ask people what they want, and they want better horses"
and we are offering not-a-horse
I like the process of iteration and debate in open though
they really seem to nail that
and there are things about those designs that are worth exploring

Might actually be a good example of using this to start the FDA discussion though...more people doing this convo, and it 100% generated in the Fbk group w/ non-typical devs!

so yeah, it's very interesting, want to encourage that
actually that process is what I think should be typical... there are some graphics/UX people in that thread I think
