interesting.... resin.io has a containerization-git service for RPI and for intel edison
very interesting
mean it can sync based on git actions...

So @scottleibrand Just handed me a brick of a battery to try. I "blame" @audiefile @timomer ;)

Which one did you end up with?

All of them. The one discussed and 2 other sizes

The one that looks like it will work best for the pancreas bag is the IEP390 (9000mAh, squarish).

That's the one I've been using; works pretty well

@jasoncalabrese Just upgraded to FunnelCake, noticed the custom treatments not showing up anymore

Didn't get displayed at all? Any errors in the js console?
Think azure is having major problems with our deploy, seeing people get failed deploys and then sometimes they can't even login.

no errors, i noticed it when I tried the beta couple of weeks back. was ok with .7 deployment went fine and upgraded succesfully

Is there a way to check on https://nspowens.azurewebsites.net, seems that after some failed deploys he can't even login. Maybe we took the whole host down?
Ali Mazaheri
@amazaheri
Sep 04 2015 06:26
BTW i see the issue on my own subscription not nightscout.net
ouch 500! for nspowens
Jason Calabrese
@jasoncalabrese
Sep 04 2015 06:27
Yeah, I've seen a handful of these, they land up having to create a new site
Hard to know if these are related issues or if we're doing something that azure really doesn't like

i dig more on the treatment display issue, so if I add an entry through Care Portal it showes up but ones adding from OpenAPS like one above not showing up

Looks like Dexcom's Clarity software is up and running: https://clarity.dexcom.com/
And, at first glance, it sucks less!

Well, their previous attempt was ... ok?
Frustrating if you're on a mac?
Also, I was very pleasantly surprised when I first uploaded because it was showing my last 14 days of data (I've been looping for ~16 days or so) and they are shockingly good

@scottleibrand yes, please make sure you check out the Rileylink branch! Otherwise it is still Carelink based

@amazaheri going to try to get a patch release out this weekend, maybe we can get a fix for your treatment issue, tracking everything here: https://github.com/nightscout/cgm-remote-monitor/milestones/0.8.X

@channemann Nice. Although that always irritated me when dex studio would say no patterns found. But a friend posted some screenshots of the new stuff and looks like it might be more practical for highlighting trends

@danamlewis yeah, it has a few nice features, and is pretty slick; still, missing some basic things

@bewest I looked into resin.io back when I was set on dockerizing my loop
Ben West
@bewest
Sep 04 2015 21:32
it looks interesting, like it could be a good fit
is it a bad fit?
think it assumes constant internte
Nathan Racklyeft
@loudnate
Sep 04 2015 21:32
no I never got far enough to need it,
Ben West
@bewest
Sep 04 2015 21:33
but it can provision the first boot
which is attractive
and then it can manage OTA updates via git-push semantics
that.... is extremely attractive
Nathan Racklyeft
@loudnate
Sep 04 2015 21:33
yeah that's huge if I was in active development at scale
it sounds like a problem you need to solve :)
Ben West
@bewest
Sep 04 2015 21:34
well, even for the mesh updating stuff
like for your monitor
like openaps itself could be managed updates through this mechanism, but so can the data mesh/backup functions
Nathan Racklyeft
@loudnate
Sep 04 2015 21:35
I'd like to get back to containerizing my Pi (openaps/loop is one, monitor is the other)
Ben West
@bewest
Sep 04 2015 21:36
I'm not sure how great an idea it is or not, really
it might help people get set up very quickly
Nathan Racklyeft
@loudnate
Sep 04 2015 21:36
I still think it's a great idea... especially for sharing setup
right

the thickness of the stack is kind of weird... it seems perverse almost
the objection could easily be: "why not just write your embedded code or even linux app and be ddone with it"
doing upgrade from some rss channel is easy, even setting up your own feed for opkg/apt is pretty easy
"easy"
but might leapfrog early development, dunno
works on both rpi and edison
think for longer battery life/mobility it's easiest to shrink it using edison, and use some embedded mode to turn it off most of the time
Nathan Racklyeft
@loudnate

for sure.
