Hi All, looking for some minimed quickset infusion sites to use before we commit to Medtronic from our current Tandem. I have a ton of Luer lock quickset I could trade. Also have a bunch of Animas reservoirs.

I have 20 minimed reservoirs that came with the 722 pump when I bought it 2nd hand, so I'm fine for those.

Looks like you could fit the Curie inside the care link usb stick :)

Having trouble finding information on availability of the curie.
It’s not out yet?

@bewest @audiefile Endo asked 2 questions about my system this time: 1) how do you connect between CGM and pump and 2) not aware of anything commercial available, did you build the software?) Also after visit summar just says "excellent job with current efforts. Please continue with more of same." Nothing like @channemann 's note.

FYI all, I wrote a follow up to "why DIY is important" to help answer (from my perspective) some of the questions we get about "should I do this?" and (one of the most frequent questions in the general CGM in the Cloud group) "when will it be available to less tech-savvy folks"? If anyone else is writing about this kind of stuff elsewhere too, let me know so I can save your links to point people to as well when questions come up.

Hi guys, i dabble a bit in a few programming languages and i'm looking to create my own closed loop system. If i were to buy a 522 pump is it as simple as hooking it up to be able to send it commands or is there flashing/similar involved?
& is manufacture date of the pump anything to consider?

Hey @SuicidalTissue, there's no flashing, and @bewest has done a fantastic job with decocare to make it possible to communicate with the pump, but beyond that it's still pretty complex and it's not a 100% documented process. (I just wrote this post that you may want to check out: http://bit.ly/1gIBobb)
Take a look at this hardware page for more info on what we know about pumps: http://bit.ly/1V6biln

@SuicidalTissue manufacture date doesn't matter for 522 (they're all good), only for 523 (only older firmware allows remote pump control).

howdy all. In openaps-js there's a new [offline] option in determine-basal.js
I'm not sure (yet) what to pass there. I'm starting as always offline, so it is good to see :)
do the square brackets mean it is optional?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand

yes, it's optional

oop - I see, just at text string "Offline". Am trying it.
@scottleibrand ok. Thanks.

if you want offline functionality (set the current basal as temp to see on the pump that it's working) do that

argh ... I'm getting the dreaded "assert duration % 30 is 0, "duration {0} is not a whole multiple of 30". I'm just getting back into this after having to deal with other things. I expect this is my fault, but just checking if it something you've worked through recently ...

I don't remember seeing that in awhile. try upgrading everything...
sudo easy_install -ZU decocare, sudo easy_install -ZU openaps, etc.
