@danamlewis I'm curious, how many Explorer boards are we getting made anyways? I know you needed more than 50, sounds like we made that.

@elnjensen I did go ahead and settle on the Pebble classic since it seemed the mainstream version. But thanks for letting me know the round is an option coming soon. I do still have some work to do on the be pebble, because for some reason its not receiving data from nightscout.

I need a bit of help if anyone is able. I am trying to write the firmware to a Slice of Radio chip with a TI CC Debugger for the Raspberry Pi 3. I have gone through the setup using this site. https://github.com/oskarpearson/mmeowlink/wiki/Pi-With-Slice-of-Radio Unfortunately, I keep getting an error.

I have cc-tool installed under the directory within the Pi.
There was a lot of discussion on disabling/enabling the serial port using this:
sudo nano /boot/config.txt and go to the bottom and change enable_uart=0 to enable_uart=1
However, when I run that code, this text does not exist in the .txt file.
I wonder if this instruction applies to Pi3?

So, we just deleted the entire directory and reinstalled with this guys instruction for the Pi3 and it seems to have worked this time. http://spellfoundry.com/2016/05/29/configuring-gpio-serial-port-raspbian-jessie-including-pi-3/

@garykidd To be fair, it was bihormonal - gave glucagon as well. In those pre microprocessor days, its control law was pretty simple - give insulin if high, give glucagon if low, give nothing in between.

I know theres a lot of room to continue to improve insulin alone pumps...my endo is convinced bihormonal will ultimately take the day.

@garykidd if you still get that after commenting out all your openaps stuff in cron and rebooting, you can manually delete the lock file.
@hardwick1973 are you entering meal carbs into the pump? What does meal.json say? What happens when you run the meal.json report manually?

@scottleibrand that did it. I was forced to power off without a shutdown---that must've caused it. Just dont know what caused the need to hard boot in the first place. Lot of kinks to work out still. thx

k. also possible that running multiple different openaps commands in the same directory makes this more likely. we'll have to keep an eye out for that.

I've seen an issue with that lock file, I think it can happen from the killall
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Oct 07 2016 18:57
maybe we should do killall -g openaps && rm master.lock ?
that way we'd only ever remove the lock when we know there's no longer anything holding it open

@Hardwick1973 : beta3 is stable enough and has many more features than stable. branches dev and wip/buckets are also stable enough to use in my option. Use the wip/buckets branch if you want to use multiple cgm sources (see nightscout/cgm-remote-monitor#1919 )
