help please, I am starting my openaps over from scratch but every time I run the automated install script it ends with " The 'openaps==0.2.0.dev0' distribution was not found and is required by the application." If I ignore this and continue with cloning oref0 and running oref-setup, the myopenaps directory is empty and not initialized.

@peterfulvi @thebookins I do not even have a working rig yet...My EB is still on backorder. I am excited to get started, though, and wanted to get a head start on a case design. I do not CAD so if someone could help us out, that would be great!

Hi everyone!
I am Irune, a Spanish Industrial Engineering student. I am on the last year of my bachelor programme and I want to do my Bachelor's Project about the OpenAPS Device. I have a close family member with T1 diabetes, which has made me do research about the disease and about different options that can make the life of diabetic people easier.
I would like to be helpful for the community and I am really open to try to develop any suggestions you can tell me to improve the current OpenAPS device. In fact, @danimaniac I would be really interested on helping you developing the case design, I have some CAD knowledge and 3D printing experience, so, if you can help me with the dimensions of the design, we can work developing your idea!

@cjo20, any ideas what might be causing this: RefreshAssertionError: CRC does not match page data

RefreshValueError: need more than 0 values to unpack

The errors are coming in the refresh_pumphistory24h function.
Chris Oattes
@cjo20
Feb 15 2017 11:30 UTC
I get those occasionally. CRC failures usually mean that there was something wrong with the comms
On occasion, the pump just seems to not respond to requests, which is why it gives a "need more than 0 values to unpack" error. It didn't get any data, so there's nothing to decode

Okay, fair enough. I'm wondering whether it's a characteristic of an older battery. Mine's around 1.3v at the moment.

no, it doesn't seem to be. I get it with a brand new battery
1.3v isn't low. The batteries should be good down to 1.2v

So here's an interesting one. Earlier today I entered a bolus for 5u. When I look in pump history at that time I can see two 5u boluses with the same time stamp. One shows 5u delivered and one shows 2.6u delivered. Oref0 thinks I have 7.6u of insulin from this. The pump bolus wizard thinks 5u and I reckon 2.6u is most likely. Obviously this is all rather confusing. What do we think?
@cjo20 Compared to most pumps, the omnipod dosing accuracy has been found to be suspect. There's a similar study v Cellnovo.

ok thank you but that didn't lead me to it so ill ask you I was working on the openaps rig a few weeks ago and it was up for 3 days but I think I am getting the corrupt messages because it was unplugged without being shutdown first so I want to reload the sdcard but I think I remember something about" be carful when you put that card back into your laptop " can I just erase it ?

I have set up the following repository to design / revise / document another Explorer Board / Edison based OpenAPS rig case. https://github.com/danimaniac/OpenAPS-Explorer-Board-Edison-vented-case I have never previously used github. I am sure this will become apparent as we go along. I do not have CAD skills so I am relying on a collaborative effort. I have tagged several users that have recently expressed interest in a case. Let's see what happens...go!

my son is 4 years old, and we have a low basal during the day (it is sufficient for him) but when he sleeps, he starts climbing and hitting 14mmol, or worst..
we are on closed loop and we bolus correct..because the loop does not get him down.
Is there a way to tweak the loop so specifically from 8-10 PM, it is alot more aggressive and gets him down
without us giving him bolus corrections??
at night time, from 7 pm, we high temp...but again not sufficient to get him down...unless he does not have a carb meal for dinner..

cd && ~/src/oref0/bin/oref0-setup.sh --btmac=AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF

Each step runs and acts like it is all going to work but at the end, I always get:

maybe I should delete "/usr/local/bin/openaps" before re-installing openaps? I already delete my existing src and myopenaps directories.
