hi! switching to a new pump -722 medtronic with the correct firmware for openaps. need to change the serial number and get it connected to the rig. Does this look right? -Setup code
openaps device add pump mmeowlink subg_rfspy /dev/mmeowlink [YOUR PUMP SERIAL]
Sample contents
[device "pump"]
serial = [YOUR PUMP SERIAL]
port = /dev/mmeowlink
radio_type = subg_rfspy
model = [YOUR PUMP MODEL]
expires = 2016-05-23T23:02:36.168762

@wharper11 I’d cat your run again and change out the serial there, so it recreates the pump.ini and everything for you properly - probably easiest way to do it

Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 00:09
yes, it's always more reliable to reinstall oref0 via oref0-runagain or oref0-setup than to try and update your configs manually
wharper11
@wharper11
Jun 28 2017 00:10
oh, ok thanks! Glad I asked...
oref0-setup --dir=/root/liamopenaps --serial=000000 --cgm=xdrip --ns-host=https: //liamopenaps.herokuapp.com --api-secret=apisecret --tty=/dev/spidev5.1 --ma x_iob=0 --enable=' autosens microbolus meal ' --radio_locale='US' --btmac='04:C2 :3E:15:54:FC'
change the serial number to the new pump and run it again, right?
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Jun 28 2017 00:15
there’s a space in your max IOB - and do you want it to be zero?
otherwise, yes, change pump SN and run again

ok, I'll fix IOB, thanks.

@laurathiessen anything you've done in bluetoothctl is done. You can quit out of that shell by typing exit, if you want.
DaisyHK
@laurathiessen
Jun 28 2017 04:17
is done? what do you mean done? as in I cant erase it?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 04:30
As in whatever you asked it to do, it did it (or failed to). In bluetoothctl you're executing commands, not writing something to a file that can be erased.
Generally you can just start over and re-do any of those steps, but some of them won't give the same output (and might even complain) if they've already been done and don't need to be done twice.
DaisyHK
@laurathiessen
Jun 28 2017 04:35

@stefanakerblom the other thing you could do is get one of these https://www.adafruit.com/product/1904 and use it to charge. I have about 3 of them and when you solder the link it allows for 500 mA charging (so quicker). It has a green led that switches on when the battery is fully charge and will do a trickle charge so no risk of overcharging etc.

@ceben80 that looks good to me. Did you 3d print the case? I am building a new rig and am thinking I'd like to marry it all in one case. I also want to switch the connector for the power supply to something like an 1/8" headphone jack. the mini usb's are so tiny and I always seem to be trying to install it upside down. Only a matter of time before the usb jack on the EB is messed up.

running oref0-setup with any of the bluetooth options should properly install bluez for you. Is the btmac= string in your setup script?
Jorge Aguilar
@jonahtaxt
Jun 28 2017 14:50
yep, the thing is that, it does install it, and it checks to see if it's already installed and it is. But I think that there might be something wrong with the installation because I'm not able to run it, and the bluetoothd command does not exist
so I think that uninstalling it should do the tricks

Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 17:24
this is the right place to ask. I presume you meant a temp basal...
take a look at the OpenAPS pill or the pump-loop.log on the rig, and look for the reason field
Giuseppe
@giupo
Jun 28 2017 17:24
@scottleibrand yes, a temp basal :P
@scottleibrand ahhh... "COB undefined ...."
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 17:25
that might be part of it, but it still could set a high temp if IOB isn't too high already
it might be worth pasting it here

@stefanakerblom not possible to auto-set the pump basals like you’re imagining - but if you’re not already, you can run autotune as part of your loop nightly so it creates a new profile and uses that for looping. (new profile including basals will be capped against whats on your underlying pump, for safety)

Hola. Running into a problem with connecting to wireless networks. when I run ifconfig wlan0 I get this reply: wlan0: error fetching interface information: Device not found. Not a L:inux guy but from this I gather my wireless lan isn't enabled or available?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 20:55
more likely you just screwed up the config file (which is super easy to do if you don't get every bit of syntax perfect)

you don't need that -999 priority if it's a named network. shouldn't break anything though.

I want to find my average daily autosense percent, and put them into Excel every day. And then average every first, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, … day of every site/insulin change with FIAsp. I will then decide how many days on a site is reasonable. Is there some way to see my average daily sensitivity?
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Jun 28 2017 22:17
nope, but a lot of people would like it if you figure out a way to pipe the autosens results over 24hours so it can be visualized (and averaged)
rsilvers129
@rsilvers129
Jun 28 2017 22:29
If it is in looplog, I can collect it with sed the stream editor. Is it output into looplog once per loop?
I would love to have a NS pill that shows today’s average glucose. I don’t know how to code it. Even if I had a pill to copy, not sure how to access the glucose values. Is this easy to do for anyone here?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 22:39
@rsilvers129 currently we do not log the actual autosens ratio in pump-loop.log, just the resulting adjustments to basal, target_bg, and sens
looks like it's not logged in autosens-loop.log either, but it probably should be
rsilvers129
@rsilvers129
Jun 28 2017 22:41
If it were on its own line with a date stamp it would be easy to process later. I could grep them out.
If you know where I can add the print statement to do it, I could start doing it with FIAsp.
I am at 101 hours now on my site and insulin.
I would love to see how it changes when I change the site in a day or so
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 22:42
what we have right now in pump-loop.log looks like this:
Autosens adjusting basal from 1.17 to 1.45; target_bg from 100 to 93; sens from 62.421 to 50.7
maybe it'd be easiest to make a new cron job that just logs the contents of settings/autosens.json with a timestamp

Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 23:13
it doesn't change each loop, but rather each time autosens is run. checking it every 5m or whatever will give you a nice stair-step graph showing when it does actually change.
rsilvers129
@rsilvers129
Jun 28 2017 23:36

Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 28 2017 23:42

there's no e at the end
I'd run it something like every minute or every 5, doesn't really matter
rsilvers129
@rsilvers129
Jun 28 2017 23:44

I can call it anything.
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
