@primags You can sometimes get that message if there's signal interferences

@cduarte in theory it should retry to connect to the wifi and disable the hotspot every 20 min, or when internet is detected through bluetooth tethering.
so if you waited a couple more min after the logs you posted, at 22:40 it should have done that.

20 minutes? I think is checking wifi 5 and 5 minutes.
Ok!
thanks
and another doubt! :smile:
When my intel Edison is connect in my home wifi to connect see the webpage offline I access by url : http://edison.local:5001
When using the hotspot of my android I need to put the http://ip_rig:5001 , why can’t access by http://edison.local:5001 ?
I am doing something wrong?
alimhassam
@alimhassam
Dec 02 2017 02:28
i think android doesn't use dns names from the hotspot correctly, so you need to use the ip in that case.
you're not doing anything wrong.

I'm getting a fault from oref0 on (running edison/dexcomG5/medtronic) - the log message is:

why in
cat /root/myopenaps/enact/enacted.json
bg = 250

and in /root/myopenaps/monitor/glucose.json
bg = 243

and the right value is 243

haven't updated my rig in a while, I'm on 0.5.2 (it is really stable), but wanted to see what versions have gone to release since... and what changes are in each. Where do I go?
I'm not aware of any part of the web site with a list of succinct changes but 0.6.0 is the big one.

Thanks @jdhigh
I've been using FIASP with 0.5.2 for about 7 weeks... with autotune and autosense, but not oref1... good results, but I'm eager to see what comes of 0.6 with the FIASP
I notice the prefernces.json has less settings that before? am I seeing that correctly?
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Dec 02 2017 05:35
Yes. I'd recommend running setup script fresh and reviewing the docs. Lots of defaults changed, preferences added and removed, etc
You definitely need 0.6.0 for fiasp to use exponential curves

@efidoman Can I suggest not hardcoding the myopenaps_dir in index.html? Maybe get it from an environment variable and fall back to that if it isn't found

That’s fine, but FWIW we’ve stopped supporting nonstandard myopenaps dirs.

@scottleibrand Mine's in a users home directory, not root
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Dec 02 2017 14:47
That’s fine, if you want to support that. Regular users’ vanity myopenaps dirs weren’t worth the trouble.
Chris Oattes

hmm. What extra support was needed?

Dec 02 2017 14:48
We do reference ~/myopenaps rather than /root/myopenaps everywhere I can think of.
I don’t remember, but grepping for myopenaps should find the explicit references.

Please move or remove them before you switch branches.

Any idea what I have to do? Thanks

Greetings all. I posted earlier today on FB about autotune and autosens, which we've just enabled Thursday evening (running latest master with Fiasp, 5h DIA). I have a related question that I think is more appropriate for this forum. I would like to temporarily disable autosens while I let autotune tweak my rates for a few days. Just too many moving parts at the moment. I edited autosens out of my runagain and reran setup but it's still showing modified ISF and target in my OpenAPS pill. Sensitivity ratio is no longer appearing in my pill, so I'm thinking that 1) I need a fresh install; 2) changing ISF and targets is part of how OpenAPS works and I never noticed before; 3) I also need to remove sensitivity_raises_target and resistance_lowers_target or 4) some combination. I would really like to retain high_temptarget_raises_sensitivity and low_temptarget_lowers_sensitivity for when I set temp targets (PE, forgotten boluses, etc.).

@kempera Were you successful removing the decocare directory? I attempted, but there are 2 other directories, and apparently 72 items in these. If you also found this, did you find a way to remove the entire decocare directory as @scottleibrand suggested without individual removals?

When running DEV I will see in the log periodically, or maybe just at startup, a log entry that says I have the latest, or there are two recent commits I may want to consider updating. Is there a way manually to issue a command to see that on my rig? I started my DEV rig and am not seeing that message.

Chris Oattes
@cjo20
Dec 02 2017 20:21
@efidoman you don't have to create one. You could just try to read one and use the default otherwise. If someone decides to run in their own location, then they can set the variable, otherwise it'll just use the default value

@dirkgastaldo -
oref0-version --check-for-updates
might be worth trying...
@humalogwolfgang - I had a similar issue recently. Almost everything in nightscout was updating, but no cgm data. I check my cgm-loop.log to find out that there was git corruption (still even after updating to 0.6.0 with nogit...). I manually ran oref0-fix-git-corruption.sh which fixed it for the time being...still need to dig into why I still have git commits on cgm-loop, but pump-loop doesn't (not even a .git directory in myopenaps).
