I spoke too soon, just used the Bolus Wizard and the insulin dose isn’t displaying. It seems like it’s delayed

So, I figured out my mmtune problems for the 512
using 0x8d as the 'test' command for a given freq fails on it's face.
0x80 works perfectly

So no more -99s across the board, even with an external antenna. Now I get -54s.
Right in the 916.5mhz range the FCC says that the 712 uses.
I've put a PR in with mmeowlink, will see if they merge it.

We can test it when we get home, and merge it if oscar hasn't by then
Great detective work!

Good to know... Hope you enjoyed whatever trip you took...
Next 'interest' is how many of the index-out-of-range errors I've been experiencing on the 712 are due to command/array-size differences, and how many may-well have been due to the fact that without this tweak every call of 'mmtune' was playing RF roulette...
Also, since I don't have a newer pump, I don't know what feeding 0x80 to those results in...

I also have to wonder what command decocare & openaps-report invoke settings/model.json use.

Because mmeowlink returns -99 for an 'invalid packet' for 0x8d (Which is supposed to be 'pump model'), however when I run the 'model.json' report in openaps, the 712 reports it's existence quite nicely...

@drnoname82 The (edited) output of cd ~/myopenaps && cat oref0-runagain.sh is ```root@erig0:~# cd ~/myopenaps && cat oref0-runagain.sh

To run again with these same options, use:

oref0-setup --dir=/root/myopenaps --serial=726203 --cgm=xdrip --ns-host=${NIGHTSCOUT_HOST} --api-secret=${API_SECRET} --tty=/dev/spidev5.1 --max_iob=2 --enable=' autosens autotune meal ' --radio_locale='WW'```

@danamlewis One more for you... Remember that hacky 'fake status reply' I put in to decocare commands.py make my pump work?
I've solved that one too.
x12s use 131 for their status command (it's actually listed as a 511 command in the master-command-list)

What I do not have the python skill to do, is to add either a routine that checks pump-model before setting 'code' to 206 or 131, or to make my original try/catch block re-execute the get-status logic with the new code.

I don't have a PR to push up for this one, because the non-x12 pumps obviously need to be using 206 in that file... But if someone who actually gets python could write a few lines, it could be solved...
I am also wondering how many other things that don't work for the 12 pumps are a 'change the code and it will work' thing

@endafarrell Thanks, your runagain says that you have autotune enabled to run automatically. This will not work with multiple carb ratios or ISFs (although I am not sure it is the only cause of your current problem). I suggest you delete and reinstall OpenAPS and either disable autotune during setup or change your pump to one CR and one ISF before reinstalling OpenAPS.

@dcacklam will you create an issue and log these together, even if you don't know how to Pr them? That way we've got all your x12 notes together. Even just copy paste what you have here would be great

@PieterGit I just manually edited settings/autosens.json, settings/profile.json, autotune/profile.json and maybe autotune/profile.pump.json. I took ISF paragraph from settings/pumpprofile.json. Essentially, fixing was copy/paste of correct single ISF profile that was created from my pump settings... After that and one Autotune rerun, everything got correct for me

qq: if I see "max_IOB" in my Nightscout OpenAPS pill, does that mean that oref0 is being limited by my ~/myopenaps/preferences.json$.max_iob value?

@scottleibrand Hi Scott, after further investigation about Old pumphistory-24h refreshValueError: month must be in 1..12 I found that this problem happens during ChangeBolusWizardSetup event. I download raw history from the pump and analyze it. Preliminary I found that it happens because of wrong alignment in parser for this type of event. I will try to look at this problem more deeply today night.

Glad to hear you have a lead on that. Please post here what you find. It sounds like there are several people working on decocare stuff now.
@dcacklam the 0x80 you're using is the start of the Read History Data protocol; shouldn't hurt anything to use it. But it's surprising that it wakes up for that but not the Read Pump Model command.

@ecc1 Is the 'invalid packet recieved' exception that mmtune is try/catching on the same one used to detect 'no response on wakeup'?

What suprises me about this is that the code OpenAPS uses for 'invoke settings/model.json' does work reliably, so there logically IS a way to get a 512/712 to spit out it's model - just not the one being used by the mmtune routine...

@laurathiessen If you get that while trying to run a script you have a typo.

Specifically, you have an un-closed statement of some sort (eg, one quote without another, if without fi, something like that)

@danamlewis Also, there is a typo in oref0-setup.sh - it outputs bg_targets_raw.json as bg_targets_raw.json, (yes, with a comma at the end of the filename).
