At one time I received Pushover alerts (I paid for the non-demo version of Pushover), but haven't received any Pushover alerts in a month or so. I'm on DEV. I have the Pushover token and key in my setup command. The docs mention oref1 rather than oref0 for Pushover, but I don't recall installing oref1 (searched for install instructions and couldn't find them, if they exist). Should I be getting Pushover alerts on DEV version of oref0?

I used to get Pushover alerts not infrequently, but haven't received any for a while. Any idea what would cause that?

Have you gotten carbsreq or insulinreq in your NS pill?

I haven't paid close enough attention. I will do that. I do see Pushover alerts in the Pushover app on my phone, so I'm guessing it is related to my Apple Watch interaction with my phone.

Ah, just see one in log now.

We also removed insulinReq alerts by default, so you should only get carbsReq ones.

trying to get clarification and i'm still a bit confused... if autotune sets ONE isf and ONE cr for the day why am i seeing adjustments in the openaps pill that do not match those numbers?
or am i wrong about the one setting? I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere. I'm sure it's right under my nose but I can't seem to work it out.

Do you have more than one ISF and CR set in your pump?
If so, you can expect unexpected behavior, because none of the development team use multiple ratios, so no one has really tested or optimized for that configuration. If anyone wants that to happen, they’ll need to do so.

Ok, thanks @scottleibrand. we do have multiple ISF and CRs for our 8 year old set up on his pump. We will rectify by changing all settings to one number.

@scottleibrand apparently we've been running openaps with autotune enabled for about 6 months with multiple ISFs and CRs throughout the day. If this data is helpful in any way please let me know. I'm not sure if this is intuitive information (not having multiple settings and running autotune) or if we missed it? In any event, thank you for clearing this up for us!

@wharper11 - I ran autotune for ages with multiple ratios. It adjusts basal rates without issue. The only thing you miss is adjusted isf and Cr. If you have widely variable ISF/CR you may be better off not changing to a single number.
@alimhassam it’s ages since I ran with that configuration so I’ll need to go back and look to see what I did. oref0-online has changed quite a bit since then.

Anyone have ideas on bluetooth tethering issues with edison? I upgraded to iphone 8 and did all the setup successfully through the bluetoothctl trust command. I even tested a manual connection with IP address confirmed. However, it never connects when I take a walk away from wifi with phone and edison rig. Not sure what to try at this point. Any help appreciated

Just got it for Christmas, so I haven’t done much with it yet. Printed the “lucky cat” as a sample, and a Pikachu for my son yesterday. This is only my third print, but so far I’m impressed. The print quality is really good for a <$200 printer. There’s an active community so common problems have well known workarounds.

@danamlewis - after twice through the bt tethering I finally decided to look at the logs and found that it was still trying to connect to my old phone's bluetooth address. Looked in cron and found that although I ran setup again with the new bt-mac I did not ask it to "rewrite" cron because I have my on stuff in there. Short-cut bit me. cron was of course calling oref0-online with the old bt-mac. Problem solved.

by the way - now that I got bt tethering working again, I would like to test out offline hotspot. How do you set (or get) the SID password for that option?
Dana Lewis

In the preferences docs under offline hotspot
Glad you got your tethering fixed :+1: thx for sharing what the issues was

@woodduckie that happens when your pump has a temp basal record with no matching temp basal duration, because it wrote the records out of order due to a race condition. I believe oref0 dev has a fix, but otherwise it’s a cosmetic issue that will go away after 24h.

@mkericson wlan0 is the wifi on the rig - it disconnected from your netgear wifi for "reason=6" - often authentication related. The last line might be significant. How do you know/why do you think that your "Rig isn't connecting to pump"?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Dec 29 2017 20:53
@mkericson not sure what log you're looking at (syslog?) to see the wlan0 stuff, but the only log you generally have to look at for pump comms troubleshooting is pump-loop.log
