Hi there! I'm seeing corrupt characters coming back from nightscout ajax calls that prefix the valid looking responses. For example:
ÿ40ÿ42["clients",1]
This is causing endless javascript errors and a mostly inoperable website.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm using Heroku, and have tried dev and master branch of cgm-remote-monitor.
I don't see future treatment or cgm entry records in the admin section of nightscout.
I'm gearing up to backup my mongo collections so they can get created anew.

Hi @channel, I was trying to update from oref0 .55 to .60, after successfully updating oref to .60 I can seem to get it to install correctly. It stopped at ~bluez 22% No space left on device~ the first time and wouldn't loop correctly. The next time I ran it:

'Continue? y/[N] y
Removing any existing git
Removed any existing git
Checking openaps 0.2.1 installation with --nogit support
openaps 0.2.1-dev
Checking /root/myopenaps: mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/root/myopenaps’: File exists
/root/myopenaps initialized
/root/src/decocare/ already exists; pulling latest 0.1.0-dev
fatal: unable to write new index file
Couldn't pull latest decocare 0.1.0-dev
'

Any help would be appretiated

Want to ask in Nightscout/public, @bfaloona ? Haven't see that in OpenAPS
Re: couldn't update to 0.6.0 - search the docs for disk full, or disk space
There's some troubleshooting commands there for how to check & remove so you'll have space for the update

What do you guys use for max_iob and maxbasal settings? I tend to use 3x lowest basal (~2.5x highest basal) for maxbasal. At the moment I use about 2x basal for max_iob but this is causing nighttime corrections after a meal to sometimes take hours, thinking of bringing it up to 3x.

@live4sw a lot of people have upped their maxiob quite a bit in 0.6.0 given the changes; sounds like you'll want you, too.
@Jane49 what happens if you try again? And, is your rig online?

@Jane49 that might be a network error, see https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=112099
can you try
ping -c3 8.8.8.8

@PieterGit thanks - i think you could be right
had two windows open, closed them, logged in again;
logged out and in then to check dependancies did
curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openaps/docs/master/scripts/quick-packages.sh | bash
all looked ok so
cd && ~/src/oref0/bin/oref0-setup.sh
I think it's gone past the python bit ... will know soonish :)

So... while I'm stuck using the carelink stick & rpi, I've gone through & made some fixes to setup & pump-loop so that it works with non-edison/non-explorer hardware again...
On vanilla 'dev' branch, the following issues are present with oref0-pump-loop:
1) Multiple places in the pump-loop script make direct calls to mmewowlink routines, even if we are not using an mmeowlink device
2) The script 'assumes' an Edison/explorer & executes the battery-checker (creating a battery-check json file, which can goof up ns-loop) every time
3) The script 'assumes' that a null '$port' variable means a 'mistake' & assigns /dev/spidev5.1 to it (For explorer board) even though setup does not assign a port in pump.ini when you choose Carelink

@PieterGit Yes I have read the guidance there, the issue I have is that it is stuck in "ready to receive application", some other guidance I have read has suggested to reflash the Edison with yocto so I can access the prompt and then reflash with Jubilinux

hey everyone - away in the dominican republic now and can't get wifi on my rig to connect. I've got good connection from my comp to the wifi... just can't ping google so rig is for sure not online. Tried using ssid="network name" and psk ="password" commands as typical but no go. I've also used the password/identity language (typical of a school setting) as this place doesn't have a password just a network name and identity.. but again no go. Anyone got any pearls of wisdom?
here's what I've done (I know I shouldn't post identity stuff but this isn't getting me anywhere anyway so...)
network={
scan_ssid=1
ssid="Sunscape"
password=""
identity="supop"
key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
priority=1

PR #878 just failed the Travis CI check due to the error below.

I believe this is the disk quota on the CI container, and not a problem in the new code, yes?

I re-flashed and installed from scratch - seems to be looping. I think the problem may have been in the /etc/wpa - etc/network files but I couldn't see it, so started again after a break (I think that helped too) Thanks

@cameronrenwick I just set this up a couple minutes ago:
network={
key_mgmt=NONE
priority=-999
}
add that to the bottom after you type "edit-wifi"
it seems to log into any unsecured wifi automatically that way. I'm not sure what would happen if they aren't broadcasting their SSID though...
Ok, got one for the bluetooth experts here... I'm trying to default to Bluetooth Tethering with my Moto Z2, but my phone only seems to keep the tether active for a certain time...maybe it has to do with traffic on the connection. I wondered if there was a way to automate the tethering without always having to tap the "Bluetooth Tethering" slider. Without sliding that, it seems like the rig won't get connection.
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Jan 01 2018 21:43
Be careful - many unsecured wifi actually have gates (webpages you have to login to), so that'll have it get stuck on any of those where it'll look like you're online but not
Jieseldeep
@Jieseldeep
Jan 01 2018 21:44
Aha! I figured there was a reason it wasn't part of the code by default...is there a way to let it connect to only networks that you name the SSID?
