Looks like that fixed it. @dcacklam or anyone with an x12 pump: can you confirm whether this fix will work for x12s as well?

I've had 3 working rigs "no problems" - I have now attempted to update all three of them and none of them are working. Not sure how many more times I should attempt to run master script. Here is my log and it will not connect to pump, any direction would be appreciated.

getting started on building up a new Pi dev rig to test the new pHats. Ran the vanilla openaps-install script and stalled on
checking for GLIB... no configure: error: GLib >= 2.28 is required Couldn't make bluez
Running 2017-09-07-raspbian-stretch-lite. Tried again without the BT tethering and worked fine. Not a real *nix guru but looks like a broken dependency to me. Planning to move over onto dev to test the new hat and display stuff soon.

if you have the hat now, try explorer-hat :)

that's normal: it should ask you to reboot next
and once you reboot SPI should work with mraa

Good morning. Starting yesterday my rig stopped tethering to my phone. I don't recall changing anthing. Here is what the log shows this morning. Any ideas?

you can try running bluetoothctl to see if it still sees the phone, and try doing the bt-pan client command (from oref0-setup) manually

Interesting thing is my phone had the blue bar across the top for hotspot saying one connection. When I looked at network activity in the log on my phone I saw nothing since the time I left the house, so that doesn't sound right.
Okay, I'll try that, Scott, thanks.
Ah, this would be a problem

probably easiest to just go through the whole bluetooth setup doc again rather than trying to troubleshoot too much

Usually you can fix that by opening bluetoothctl and doing power off and power on.

what's the state of the new touchscreen G5 receiver working plugged into a rig?

afaik no one has tried to figure out what's different about its data format to see why it doesn't quite work
not sure if there are any devs who have one in hand

and then feel free to ask questions on anything that's unclear

let me get the G5-touch rig up and running and I'll see if it's giving me any cool or informative error messages :) I'm looking for the code that pulls the data from the G5 and also the code that parses it into usable data for openaps, because I imagine that's where the problem is going to be
I haven't even plugged in a dexcom receiver before so I have no idea where to start ;)

the dexcom-reader repo is probably where most of the action is
you might look at the changes that were made to support the G5 originally to get a sense of the kinds of things that change between receiver types
