anyone around to help with some nightscout troubleshooting? Since I replaced my sensor it's not displaying CGM readings on the trend. They are showing when I hover over the OpenAPS pill.

I've got "disk space issues". I see the troubleshooting portion, and I know I'm using up about 800mb on logs. Can I clear those out? Or, what do I do now?

@Ebgineer try openaps first-upload
@jdhigh yes, just delete all the gzipped logs and any too-big ones.

cat nightscout/glucose.json | json 1 > nightscout/recent-missing-entries.json && openaps report invoke nightscout/uploaded-entries.json
looks like we never put the first-upload alias into g4-upload because everyone else uses that as a backup for share2nightscout bridge
so it's only there for MDT and xdrip, where the rig is the only thing that can upload
Ebgineer
@Ebgineer

I should probably set up share but have never done so
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jan 14 2018 04:26
I would highly advise it
all first-upload does is upload a single CGM reading so the commands that build recent-missing-entries.json stop failing on null input

I'm a little odd also since I enter carbs through NS carb treatment. I just don't use my phone much in general.

anyway that's my cgmloop-log
and I can see the current BG in NS, so somehow I think my issue has to do with packing the array into the JSON file and sending it to NS, rather than a problem getting the BG from the receiver to the rig

We don’t have any automatic updates of the OpenAPS related software enabled: you have to run oref0-setup to get those. Not sure what Linux does for OS security updates: those might happen unattended as well.

Although you probably can’t do it that way either. I think it needs to be nightscout/whatever from the correct working directory.

First night of SMB a success! Thanks all who helped and who continue to improve this project! Since enacting the oref1 features, I have noticed a couple of errors in the pump-loop log, despite the fact that the looping seems to be working fine. Both have to do with date errors and a request to “pass” clock-zoned.json and meal.json (see excerpts below). Any advice? Thanks in advance.

@bcadre the MDT unzoned thing is a Warning, not an error. I don't have a MDT CGM, so I can't really investigate it, but @cjo20 and others who've looked at it don't think it's a real problem. if you would like to investigate it, though, I'd love to see it get figured out and resolved.
does the jq: error: null and number one repeat on all subsequent loops?

The null and number thing is the PR I submitted but never got round to finishing (code accessing a field that doesn't exist in MDT)

It'll need Dexcom testing too before merging

@bcadre would you be comfortable testing this on the MDT side? if so do you need any assistance with getting the branch installed?

In order to have nightscout get CGM data from Dexcom Share, do I need to invite nightscout as a follower? I can see the data in Dexcom Follow and have configured the heroku bridge_password and bridge_user_name config vars.

You need to have at least one follower (usually yourself, with the Follow app on the same phone as the Share app).

still not coming through to nightscout though. I guess I can't get data to nightscout from rig or Share it points toward a heroku problem, possibly with mongodb

@scottleibrand , @cjo20 Yes the “error” happens on just about every loop. I’d be happy to help test on the MDT CGM for you. Again, I’m not a “coder” and would likely need some hand-holding since I still don’t understand conceptually how all this works, what a PR is, etc. I’m reading Linux for Dummies (don’t laugh) to learn some basics. Again, with your help, I’ll do what I can. Least I can do for you and the OpenAPS community... Also reviewing some of the docs to prepare for suggesting updates.
