@bcadre I can't do hand-holding right now (someone will hopefully be able to help later). A "PR" is a "pull request", which is basically a request to "pull" changes I've made to my copy of the code back in to the main OpenAPS code

I can't for the life-of-me get a response other than 'invalid chip id 0x0' or NOP failed, could not put device into debug mode
I am using pins 16,20,21 (the last three on the outer edge, down by the USB ports...

@dcacklam post a photo of your connections pleas. I will assist where I can. Is ccprog running or throwing errors?
or a sketch of the connections
Dave Acklam
@dcacklam
Jan 15 2018 04:02
ccprog is running, but failing with either the NOP failed error or the 'invalid chip id' one
LilDucky
@LilDucky
Jan 15 2018 04:03
OK, so not mraa or gpio related. what command line and what connections??
Dave Acklam
@dcacklam
Jan 15 2018 04:04
command line is ccprog -p 16,20,21 erase
or ccprog -p 20,16,21 erase
The results for each command are identical whether wires are connected or not
LilDucky
@LilDucky
Jan 15 2018 04:05
so, connections need to be to the GPIO CONNECTOR pins 20,16,21. what does gpio readall return?
the numbers refer to the physical connector pins
that had me stumped for a few hours!

See screenshot
I am actually using 12 (RST), 16, and 20 because using 21 for RST caused the slice to go into 'reset' mode as soon as it was connected.
(heartbeat led stopped)
So command is now ccprog -p 20,16,12 erase
result is 'unsupported chip id'
If command is -p 16,20,12 then this changes to 'Unable to enter debug mode'
LilDucky
@LilDucky

Jan 15 2018 04:24
Oh, I am using BCM pin numbers here
Physical pins used are 32, 36, 38
Should I be telling ccprog the physical or the BCM numbers?
Or the Wpi ones?
LilDucky

physical pins only in this context.

Is your rig successfully uploading anything to Nightscout?
Guess so.

You can look at the /var/log/openaps/ns-loop.log to see if it’s able to download from Nightscout.

the log says: ns://JSON/shell/settings/temptargets.json
reporting settings/temptargets.json
get-profile://text/shell/settings/profile.json
reporting settings/profile.json
Refreshed temptargetsns://JSON/shell/monitor/carbhistory.json
reporting monitor/carbhistory.json
and meal-carbs

What version of oref0 are you using?
Oh, it’s because you have xdrip: the ns-loop.log is fairly useless in that config.
Are you actually using xdripaps for offline? If not, you could re-run oref0-setup using g4 or g5 for offline (which will never get used) and it will just download CGM data from NS.

I do not remember having a choice for just offline-use, I just could enter xdrip as source. I am using the oref0 00.6.0, but will try to re-run tonight, thx :)

re-run the re-run.

That choice is for offline only. I think we clarified that in a recent update, but I don’t recall if that was in 0.6.0 or in dev.

@danamlewis yesterday I posted SyntaxError. You wrote typo in preferences. I triple checked and finally found a double quotation marks. It worked. Thank you Dana

Hi all, I'm trying to fix my SSH on my rig (its not been working for months so I've been using serial). I started in the docs at the beginning for SSH and with dpkg -P nodejs nodejs-dev, I receive the following error: dpkg: error processing package nodejs-dev (--purge): dependency problems - not removing Errors were encountered while processing: nodejs nodejs-dev
any ideas of what to do next?

It might actually be easiest to just re-flash the rig rather than deal with nodejs dependencies.

got it. I have a new edison/explorer board set up I've been meaning to flash and set up. I'll do that one (this one is working well so far, so don't want to risk an issue. thanks!
saved me a lot of time trying to fix it :)

The pill is showing an ISF of 28. The settings on the pump for ISF are 100 and 110. The settings on OpenAPS for autosens are 1.2 and 0.7. How can the rig change the ISF to so low? (see picture)
although is really not doing anything bc it's zero temping do to Low

@Samuchco Do you have autotune enabled? What does autotunelog say?

I was looking around in the settings folder in my Edison and found something in my settings.json I'm wondering about.
"insulinConcentration": 50,
50? where is this coming from? Shouldn't this be 100 like in U100?
Any setting on the pump I've missed?
It's a MM 554

I don’t think we use that for anything.

Ok not to worry then :)
If I change CR on the pump, when/how will that affect things? New autotune run?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand

It’ll only affect directly autotune if it triggers the min/max limits.

You mean the autosens max/min?

Anyone else using a Pi & having interminable bluetooth issues?
Right now I can't BT tether for more than 30 sec, before it drops and reconnects
No idea why, either....
