We have a 715 Paradigm pump. How can I have it connect to a Medtronic CGM like the minimed enlight? Or how will nightscout be fed? am i very confused?

@denglfddd A less aggressive approach would be to delete all the .log.1 files, leaving the active .log files. You could also delete the *.?.gz files but these are compressed and likely don't take up as much space.

@tzachi-dar Unhelpfully, Medtronic doesn't provide a comprehensive error code list in their documentation and instead asks that you call them for customer support. Just speculating, but they might have a strain gage built into the screw pump that is out of calibration or failed, so it can't detect when it has contacted the insulin reservoir. In any case seems likely a hardware problem that isn't user-serviceable. So you might have to see if Medtronic can repair it.
@petrichordb Could you post a cycle of your pump-loop.log?

Hi Guys, when reflashing the radio chip. Should it return any detail to make me think it is complete? Ive just ran the "wget https://github.com/EnhancedRadioDevices/subg_rfspy/releases/download/v0.8-explorer/spi1_alt2_EDISON_EXPLORER_US_STDLOC.hex
./ccprog -p 19,7,36 erase
./ccprog -p 19,7,36 write spi1_alt2_EDISON_EXPLORER_US_STDLOC.hex" I can see it progressed throigh to the last line of that command but is not returning anything?

@ChrisHanzic I don't think it returns anything, just should resolve the error in the logs if successful

@denglfddd since you're already running ncdu you can hit enter to open the log directory and then d to delete the files you want to get rid of.
if you want to do it via the command line you could do cd /var/log && find -name "*.log.1" -type f to see what will be deleted
then cd /var/log && find -name "*.log.1" -type f -delete if you want to go ahead and delete them

Been sick all week with a respiratory infection. It’s fun to watch the loop report on my insulin sensitivity and correct for it. My sugars are a lot more stable than they would have been without oref0. Nice.

How do you enable microbolus in setup? I enaled SMB options in preferences.json but says it's not enaled
I'm running 0.6.1-dev, dev
'SMB not enabled for Bolus Wizard COB'
Dana Lewis

It's disabled because you used the bolus wizard in last few hours. You'll need to enter carbs via ifttt, or decide if you want the a52 risk preference enabled (and accept that increased risk if you continue to use bolus wizard)

@danamlewis Could i just use the bolus wizard to anounce the amount of carbs i ate and lower the insulin amount the wizard wants to give me to .1 unit. Thats what i did before

Installed PuTTY on a second laptop at work. The connection times out when I try to connect. I can log into the rig from my other laptop, so I know I have the correct IP for the rig. What most likely would cause the connection from the new laptop to time out?

(I don't think this matters, but I am able to connect using Serial. The new laptop is on the same WiFi as the rig. I'm getting the IP from the rig network log.)
(That is, I'm able to connect via Serial, but the connection times out when I attempt to connect via SSH.)

@danamlewis : can you merge openaps/docs#1193 to the docs if you agree with the docs PR. If anybody with a broken microusb port has been able to follow these steps, please let me know the instructions are clear enough (no hurries, but I just noticed the docs PR is open for two weeks and I moved quite some stuff in the docs to improve them)

Makes sense. I try to be careful when inserting and removing.
Do you happen to know common reasons I can't connect to rig with PuTTY? See question above. I have correct IP (confirmed with ifconfig) and rig and laptop are on same WiFi network.
PieterGit

three options:
  • try to ping a.b.c.d where a.b.c.d is the ip adress of the rig.
  • most routers offer the possibility to show the connected devices (with IP)
  • use a USB cable and connect to the rig by USB serial
@dirkgastaldo what type of rig do you use? Explorerboard with Edison?
Dirk Gastaldo

Yes
Yeah, ping results in "Destination host unreachable."

edison / ubilinux has ssh enabled by default, probably a routing issue or an error in the wifi config on the edison module. check with USB serial

Yes. Spoke with the IT Dept. They have a security rule disabling peer-to-peer communication over the public wifi here. They're looking into setting up an SSID that only I will use.

@peterfulvi having the Bolus Wizard open when SMB issues a bolus will cause an A52 error: you want to avoid that by avoiding use of the Bolus Wizard any time that SMB might be active.
