JUST got first Edison rig running, w 515 pump - not yet connected to it but its running - looking for help with papertrail - Ive run through the steps 3 or more times and I only see what looks like test data iin the logs on papertrail - its not from my rig Feb 16 18:46:03 PMEDIAAPP-01 dhclient: DHCPREQUEST on eth0 to 172.31.0.1 port 67 (xid=0x69ec4bdf)
Feb 16 18:46:03 PMEDIAAPP-01 dhclient: DHCPACK from 172.31.0.1 (xid=0x69ec4bdf)
Feb 16 18:46:05 PMEDIAAPP-01 dhclient: bound to 172.31.1.71 -- renewal in 1631 seconds.
Feb 16 19:01:01 PMEDIAAPP-01 run-parts(/etc/cron.hourly): starting 0anacron
Anyone have pointers on where to look for the papertrail issues ?

Just turned on 0.6.0 with SMB today for my son and having several hours of zero temping--which seems to be causing rising and sustained high BGs. See attached picture. Our pref settings are as follows:

Zero temping is typical when SMB is enabled and there is COB decaying. High CR? What does Autotune say?

How much insulin was given via SMBs during that time? How much would have been given via normal basal? You can subtract reservoir readings from the pump pill to calculate it if that’s easier than adding up SMBs.
Craig Brenner
@cbrenner
Feb 17 2018 18:57
@scottleibrand it looks like approx. 10.5 units were given with SMB. (~100u in reservoir @ 6pm and ~ 82 @ 12m = 18u) minus (meal bolus @ 6pm of 5.5u = 12.5u ) minus (manual 2u correction @10:30p) = 10.5u remaining. Normal basal during that time would have been approx. 1.4u/hr (didn't look to see how much autotune may have modified this) so that would be approx. 1.4u x 6hrs = 8.6u

There are different radios in use with the Edison. Do you have a TI USB Radio Stick or an Explorer board?

If you're using the Explorer board, search "ccprog" and follow those steps for reflashing the radio.

Quick question about donating data to OpenAPS data commons... Does the process work when Nightscout is setup to use tokens for security?
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Feb 17 2018 19:48
@c-robertson good Q. It will probably bonk if you don't have the perms turned on to worldwide readable during the run. So you can switch it, donate it, and switch it back when the upload is done.
But - fwiw - haven't tested so if it still bonks, either switch back to API temporarily, or let me know and (can't do it right this second) will see what we can find out about making it work

@ToreBj Autotune says CR @ 1:11 whereas we are using CR of 1:10. We have been using 1:10 for breakfast and 1:12 for meals after 10am. We recently changed to 1:10 for 24hrs (as we have seen post meal rises).

@danamlewis My data donation worked fine (after having set default 'readable' on Nightscout)
sorry, data transfer, haven't donated yet...
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Feb 17 2018 20:17
Ya. Data transfer is the part that matters for perms on NS. So donation should just be a button click and the survey.

@cbrenner so if SMB gave more insulin than you would’ve gotten without it, the zero temps are not your problem: that is SMB working as designed and running a zero temp for safety while giving extra insulin via microboluses.

After you modify and save, may take a few minutes to show.
Do you have your rig running?

Thank you! And yes its running. I've used it at home but having trouble installing the BT tether on my S7. I haven't started fine tuning yet but the smothing of the lines is great thus far.

K. (If you haven't a live rig, sometimes the pill etc won't show but if you've got a rig going, it should update assuming you have the correct URL and API secret in your rig)
Dave Rich
@drich4608

Correct URL and API are in the rig. Its communicating with nightscout and sending bolus data. Some confusion on where to enter carbs to avoid doubling data atm. The nightscout dispalys the bolus info from pump but not the carbs. itsin the bolus w and COB though.

Hi experts!

I’m struggling to determine the cause of openaps entries being future dated in ns (temp basals are showing on the plot, boluses are not and both are showing as future dated in admin tools).

Current default time zone: 'Australia/Sydney'
at the moment we are in daylight saving time (UTC +11)

Nightscout version 0.10.2-release-20171201

Your instance of oref0 [0.6.0, master] is up-to-date.

Checking pump clock: "2018-02-18T09:46:12+11:00" is within 1m of current time: Sun Feb 18 09:46:15 AEDT 2018

I saw a PR to fix this issue late last year. Can anyone confirm that that was pushed to the latest master?

Heroku instance is showing correct local time also:
Sun Feb 18 09:52:31 AEDT 2018
Any tips to fault find further?

@brendanpuck can you explain where the future dated entry occurs? I assume it's a feature dated treatment (from the pump). Correct?
Brendan Puckeridge
@brendanpuck
Feb 17 2018 23:00
Yes any bolus entered in the pump and uploaded via openaps don’t show on the graph but appear as future in the admin window. temp basals appear on the graph and in the admin window as future dated (but the date is correct).
I should say the date displayed as future isn’t in the future it is correct
That implies to me that a system time somewhere has lost the plot
Correct time zone in heroku too - Australia/Sydney

Potentially another clue: I’ve just noticed that the bolus upload is entering BG as mg/dl. System here is mmol/l. So the bolus plot is actually way off the graph (above the graph). So it is probably just plotting out of view.

is the timezone listed in your profile /profile ok?
i also noticed some incorrect "future" treatments in my Nightscout as well (+2:00), oref0.6.1 and latest dev nightscout
@brendanpuck : i can correctly see the treatments which are incorrectly listed as "future" treatments in my Nightscout view. I think it's a problem with the "Remove future items from mongo database" query. Do you also see the treatments in Nightscout? Correct fix we need to do is make all the uploaders use UTC format (without timezones)
PieterGit
@PieterGit
Feb 17 2018 23:13
for me it's only 2 hours, am I correct that you see 11 hours of future treatments (which aren't future) in your "Remove future items from mongo database" view in the admin page?
i'm leaving. i'll be back tomorrow. have a good night/day
Brendan Puckeridge
@brendanpuck
Feb 17 2018 23:14
Yeah that’s correct. Same location. With all the temp basals that’s huge.
Thanks for now @PieterGit I’ll look further in the profile setup - it could be that easy.
It could also be the units issue. I don’t remember being asked about that in the setup script.
