I'm getting this error trying to set up bluetooth tethering on my nexus 6p when I try to run the command to temporarily disable the wifi connection. Any ideas?
root@hellocomputer:~# iwconfig wlan0 txpower off; sleep 120; iwconfig wlan0 txpower auto
Error for wireless request "Set Tx Power" (8B26) :
    SET failed on device wlan0 ; Input/output error.
All of the other steps in the docs complete successfully until this point

might be easier to just walk out of range of your home wifi (or turn it off)

What will I see in the logs if the netIOB is maxing out and affecting the calculation?
in version 0.6.0

CareLink 512WW pi zero fresh install
I’ve just started with openaps on a pi zero with carelink, for edison being terminated and carelink seeming to be foolproof to me. But when starting to loop, there’s in the log some "Radio check failed“, which loops to silence and back again. Couldn’t really find info about it, which makes me assume having missed something. Would you have an idea?

we still recommend trying to find an Edison and buying an Explorer Board. the carelink is unsupported, and its range sucks.

There was none in my area any more and deliveries from overseas get so many times lost for any reasons... or get sent back by local customs for missing CE signs.

Sounds like a TI stick or similar will be the next best option, then. IMO that would be a lot easier than trying to rework everything to get Carelink to work.

Feb 24 2018 08:43
I must admit... I had hoped to avoid that flashing and fiddling on another device. Love it. But it's so time consuming, when sonething goes wrong, which it always does. But this might be it.

Feb 24 2018 08:43
so you're in Europe then? what pump(s) do you have?
Thomas
@TH2100
Feb 24 2018 08:45
Just on a 512 for 10 years, cause I never found something better worth the fight with the ensurance... :-)
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Feb 24 2018 08:45
I hear you. However - TI stick time to setup will be less than the time spent trying to fix Carelink and keep it in range to actually loop
Thomas
@TH2100
Feb 24 2018 08:47
Wouldn’t have thought that for carelink being supported from the beginning. But if you think so, I definitly should try that way.
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Feb 24 2018 08:50
Yea. it's been 3.5 years, so a while ago as no one was using Carelink any more in the community, we stopped testing it since we had several other better working radio devices to test with.

another option in Europe is to get a Combo or Insight pump and loop with AndroidAPS
Thomas
@TH2100
Feb 24 2018 08:51
That wasn’t clear to me. So, done. I’ll gonna check TI out!
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Feb 24 2018 08:52
for the TI stick, you'll either need a CC-debugger, or you'll need to get a Raspberry Pi and some jumper wires to connect up to it and flash it with ccprog

Actually, after 10 years the 512 disapears bit by bit, so I started the process for a Dana RS in July… so maybe I should …wait. Which I’m I’m not good at. :-)
Tried AAPS too with a virtual pump… was so excited… would’t wanna wait…
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Feb 24 2018 08:55
Heh. Then you'll be able to AndroidAPS!

Let me just find out what an explorer board actually does, cause I totally ran into pi...
philipgo
@philipgo
Feb 24 2018 09:23
@rollerdecom Explorer Board contains radio and charger. Edison with Explorer Board is smaller than Pi setups and battery lasts longer, Pi setup is still experimental

I want to emphasize something about "n=*" because it's really really meaningful to the pros -- in clinical trials n is usually <= 100, so when a researcher or doctor sees n > 500, it's really shocking (and reassuring)

hi.. would anybody know what this error means or how to fix it? Old pumphistory-24h refreshKeyError: 6
its a rig I had not been using for a few days, when put it back in service it does not stop showing this and the loop fails every time
