Hello, how do I edit my bolus snooze? Mine stop working. I get a 0 temp basal after every bolus which is very annoying...
Another question, anyone knows how to display the autotune history efficiently in Terminal?
Martin Haeberli
@mhaeberli

@ecc1 ‘in the low level code’ - can you suggest some filenames? a dumb idea might be to log those rssi s into a file with timestamps, and just send the tail of that file up to Nightscout if it has a place to keep it.
thx 4 your info

programmed bolus.png
I’m seeing some inconsistencies between the Nightscout view and the Nightscout treatments report and also other factors like IOB. For example, at 5:58 PM the report says Normal bolus with wizard. Calculated IOB: 1.9 Programmed bolus 0.9 Delivered bolus 0.9 Percent delivered: 100% Food estimate 0 Correction estimate 0 Bolus estimate 0 Target low 100 Target high 120 Hypothetical glucose delta -31.5 which sounds like 0.9 units. but the Nightscout graphical display at the time says ‘4 units / 0 carbs’
also, in the last few hours, IOB suddenly jumped from say 4 or so to say 14 or so, yes, with a few SMBs in the middle, but nowhere near that much insulin
the discrepancy seems to relate to the above, for example, the 4 units shown graphically that don’t show in the treatment log are counted into IOB.

cgm-remote-monitor is running 0.10.2-release-20171027 ; running 0.6.0 openaps master with SMB
so am I missing something?

Apr 08 2018 03:36
@franckvalli I would update your oref0 - we eliminate bolus snooze in oref0 0.6.0 along with a lot of other improvements. cat-autotune to see your Autotune report.
@mhaeberli you can look at the reservoir values (subtract normal basal) to see what's delivered for a time frame
Martin Haeberli
@mhaeberli
Apr 08 2018 03:44
k thx. so - reservoir decreased just a little, but IOB pill shows increase > 4 units!
trying to understand disconnect between the models ...

OpenAPS pill = source of truth. Do not look at iob or cob pills in NS.
Martin Haeberli

ok I’ll turn IOB off - I think COB is gone anyway...
Scott Leibrand

Apr 08 2018 03:49
The IOB and COB polls reflect the data from the OpenAPS pill when it’s available, so they’re convenient to have on. But when in doubt, check the source of truth.
Martin Haeberli
@mhaeberli
Apr 08 2018 03:50
@scottleibrand thx - the IOB pill was WAY off the openaps pill number ...
but actual behavior was much better in light of OpenAPS pill values vs IOB singleton pill ...

hey @danamlewis: I am about to start looping tonight probably, i got the edison, on enhanced radio devices it says it was flashed with Jubilinux but the edison i have got has sheet on paper that its ubilinux 3.10 poky-edison? I will need to reflash again eh?

@scottleibrand Sideline from the hardware-dev page: Which of the 2 'go' branches has support for UART & xdripjs? (or both)?
I assume go-dexcom is work on getting a direct connection between the sensor and the rig...

@Tornado-Tim that may be fine: I’d just try the install. You can always reflash if needed.
@dcacklam no, go-dexcom is BLE with the G4 w/ Share receiver, not the sensor.

@Tornado-Tim - Do these errors continue if you let it run for 30 minutes or so? It could be that these files just don't exist yet on the system and need to be generated for these errors to disappear. Obviously, if this is the case, then we need to modify the code to handle these errors better, but maybe it is transient for a new / fresh install. I always ignore the first couple of loops of warnings/errors before troubleshooting further.

@dcacklam (as mentioned on the hardware-dev page) none of the 2 go-dexcom or go-explorer-hat has built-in support for UART i believe, but since the underlying go binaries should have the same interface, it should be relatively simple to get it to work, by just installing the right binaries. Otherwise both branch should work, and should be similar, go-dexcom just has additional functionality for the G4.

There will be something obvious here that I am missing but please can somebody assist? I have rebuilt OpenAPS with a new phone MAC address and set up Bluetooth tethering to the new phone. I am now using an Android Moto G5 exclusively for Diabetic stuff - keeping my iPhone as my everything else phone including BT connections to my car audio, handsfree and satnav. I have forgotten my rig on the iPhone but it still keeps appearing in my logs - alongside the MotoG5 Android and I cannot see why or how to get the rig to forget its previous relationship.

I've been on a lot of walks today, getting away from my home network as I try different things to sort out offline looping ... which is a good thing I suppose :-) Now to my question ... If I set up xDrip+ to have a setting which reflects the i/p of my rig when it has a Bluetooth PAN address, how will my NS site get updated once I am back home and my rig is back on home turf, connected to my home WiFi and the Bluetooth connection inactive? Surely, I need to have the Bluetooth network connection live all the time as without it, the CGM data isn't being looked at by the rig and looping stops.
Tracey Berg-Fulton
@BergFulton_twitter
Apr 08 2018 17:24
So I stopped looping in the middle of the night last night and it looks like it's because there's no space left
I just did df -h and this is what I got:
/dev/root 1.4G 1.4G 0 100% /
devtmpfs 481M 0 481M 0% /dev
tmpfs 481M 0 481M 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 481M 49M 432M 11% /run
tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
tmpfs 481M 0 481M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
tmpfs 481M 12K 481M 1% /tmp
/dev/mmcblk0p7 32M 4.8M 28M 16% /boot
/dev/mmcblk0p10 1.3G 809M 483M 63% /home
tmpfs 97M 0 97M 0% /run/user/0
so it looks like /dev/root is full up
I just tried to use du -xh -d 3 | egrep "[1-9][0-9][0-9]M|[0-9]G" in myopenaps and it looks like nothing happened
It looks like ncdu is also not working
running sudo apt-get install ncdu results in "package not found"

I just tried
root@jankypanky:~# logrotate -f /etc/logrotate.conf
and got

error: error creating output file /var/log/syslog.1.gz: File exists error: error creating output file /var/log/kern.log.1.gz: File exists

And rotating the log will only free up so much space, right? That's not actually long term solving my problem?
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Apr 08 2018 17:43
Is your log rotate set at daily or weekly? (Scroll up above this header: http://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Build%20Your%20Rig/OpenAPS-install.html#step-5-watch-your-pump-loop-log) I have a Pr open that no one has tested yet, hoping that will resolve this for folks (openaps/oref0#962 for anyone who wants to test)

Dana Lewis
@danamlewis

Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Apr 08 2018 17:50
It's fairly low risk because that's the only change compared to what you're running. Here's how you'd update - step1b (http://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Customize-Iterate/update-your-rig.html#alternative-step-1b-test-a-feature-branch-not-recommended-for-initial-setup) followed by setup and preferences afterward

@Alzibiff You either need to modify oref0-online to not drop BT... Or you need a Dynamic DNS account & multiple space-separated rig-URL entries in xdrip+ - one for offline-via-BT, and one with the DNS-name for online... xdrip doesn't speak bonjour/mdns (.local names) for the cloud-uploader function.
