Quick question: I have just used the bolus wizard, and enacted carbs into it but its still not showing 20 minutes after in nightscout, will openaps, eventually get this or should i add the carbs in manually?
hmm openaps saw it, but nightscout hasnt Last carbs 25 minutes ago; remainingCATime: 3.6 hours; 100% carbs absorbed
ah it has seen it, but it simply just doesnt show a pill, must have been because it was only 5 grams

@Tornado-Tim sometimes NS doesn't display everything in the graph, so :+1: for checking OpenAPS pills/logs.

Is it usual on the pump to get 3 beeps on the hour every hour?

Yes, if a temp basal is running. You might find vibrate mode less distracting.
If even that is intolerable there’s a setting to try to help with it, but it makes it harder to tell if you’re looping.
When you enter carbs with bolus Wizard, make sure you bolus at least 0.1U to register the carbs properly.

@dcacklam Thank you for the reply but I think I solved it by adding a second URL to xDrip+ after some thinking and posting in the FB group. My xDrip+ settings now have a URL pointing to my rig when BT tethered and my 'normal' NS URL for when I am online. Now out for another walk to confirm that all is fine and dandy.

How many days worth of data should I keep in the autotune folder? If I remove any files older than 90 days in the autotune folder will that cause a problem?

It's only useful if you care about it I think. @efidoman

Correct. They’re for your debugging: only the last day’s files are used by autotune itself.

Trying to rewrite oref0-pump-loop to a read-only version since my daughters pump isn't compatible for looping.
1) I can't find the part where the raw monitor/glucose.json is converted into a readable format for nightscout. So the script fails to write nightscout/glucose.json and therefore doesn't upload it. Is there a report oref0 command for that?
2) Further i only need CAGE and SAGE values to upload (i guess).

Any advice on this?

All the other data such as treatments are properly displayed in Nightscout already

can you help me understand why you need to rewrite vs use as-is? with a non-loopable pump, it defaults as read-only as it can't successfully write to the pump at all
statuur
@statuur

because the original oref0-pump-loop fails. When it tries to send commands to the pump (i assume).

can you paste some output? should still give you what you need, but may be some other error to be addressed

Hello I have noticed that when I go into the range of 5 Mml/l and IOB is 0 my BG continues going down until the iob is -1.75 is it possible that the active insulin one is 4 hours and my pump setup is 3 hours ... an advice

I'm having some problems. I keep having hypos overnight and autotune doesn't seem to be taking the carb corrections / hypos into consideration. I'm also seeing quite a large amount of my day out of range. Getting a bit frustrated.. I'm almost at the point where I'm considering going off loop to figure out what's wrong. The fact autotune is telling me to load on more insulin overnight is also telling me something isn't right. :(

is there an easy way to disable papertrail? Just got a msg saying I'm at my max for today..I don't use papertrail so I'm kinda wondering why this msg now.. must have signed up over a year ago.. anyone else get this msg today?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Apr 09 2018 23:04
@kirkbysound are you entering the overnight correction carbs? are you entering a high target along with them?
@cameronrenwick I think there's some sort of papertrail that comes with heroku by default, and just monitors your website's logs, not your rig
cameronrenwick
@cameronrenwick
Apr 09 2018 23:06
@scottleibrand agreed. It's just now (after a year of looping) that I'm getting these warnings that I need to change plans. I don't use or want papertrail..just can't figure out how to delete, while keeping heroku intact
Andrew Kirkby
@kirkbysound
Apr 09 2018 23:08
@scottleibrand both are being entered although I've missed the target once or twice. Do I need both for AT to take the hypo into consideration when it's calculating?

Apr 09 2018 23:10
sorry.. found how to delete papertrail.. go to the heroku dashboard and under add-ons you'll find papertrail. Click on the arrows to the right and there's an option to alter your plan or delete. I deleted

autotune doesn't know what your BG is. it just knows how much it's rising or falling relative to how much it should be. entering the carbs tells it that the subsequent rise is due to carbs, and not because your basal is too low, so sounds like that's not the problem
autosens, though, will lower your sensitivityRatio based on high temp targets
so running a high temp target when you first notice increased sensitivity will make autosens adjust faster, and help avoid further lows

what about CR and ISF? Is autotune recommending any changes to those?
Andrew Kirkby
@kirkbysound
Apr 09 2018 23:12
Coincidentally, is there a way in nightscout to alter the care portal so I can enter targets in mmol/l. Multiplication by 18 at 4 AM when woken by a hypo isn't the safest.
ISF is reccomending going from 2.5mmol/l / U to about 2.8.
CR during that portion of the night shows a recommendation of more insulin.
I've had a bit of dexcom trouble recently. I wonder if some of the back dated data is causing trouble.
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Apr 09 2018 23:15
if you're running a schedule with multiple ISF or CR values, be aware that autotune only uses one of them
Andrew Kirkby
@kirkbysound
Apr 09 2018 23:15
For a bunch of really boring reasons I have to be able to upload dexcom data to diasend so I can't use spike. Their app keeps failing overnight and I'm going periods without data.
There's only one ISF but more than one CR
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Apr 09 2018 23:16
if you want to keep the multiple CR values for manual bolusing, you should change your first and last ones in the pump to be an average for the day for OpenAPS to use (and to adjust with autotune)

I'm using the bolus wizard on the pump most of the time for meals. I guess in the future with oref1 features I'll probably leave that setup.. Guessing that's the better way to do it later on.

Apr 09 2018 23:18
@kirkbysound if you use something like ifttt, you can setup yourself some predefined temp targets in mmol so you don't need to do the multiplication in the middle of the night.
for example there is a low treatment example in the page somewhere here: http://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Customize-Iterate/ifttt-integration.html

Thanks @alimhassam good tip. I've not really made much use of IFTTT other than to make a Philips hue bulb track my BG data.
