I'll let you know. It ran like this for 6 hours today, and only caught a few bg entries.
I rebooted 1/2 hour ago, and it appears I'm successfully looping
It appears the cgm time was somewhere between 55 and 90
Seconds off, and it kept trying to reset the clock and failing.

And 15 minutes later, I'm back in the same cycle: one loop finds no new data, the next loop fails with this error.

I’m having a bit of a rocky time with sensitivities just now. My autosense keeps raising my isf value. It’s up to 73 from 66 today and was on quite a high ratio yesterday despite having a high most of the day which just wouldn’t come down. I was offline for a reasonable time and not looping. Auto tune is recommending a hike in isf value but that seems wrong to me. Basal rates in auto tune match the pump more or less. Any ideas why it might be rising continually? I’m happy to show screenshots of anything helpful.

I'm getting this message when I attempt to upgrade my rig. The rig has been working fine otherwise:

@scottleibrand Once the status shows "bolusing" true, I'm stuck in a cycle where the cgm clock fails one loop, and in the next minute it reports the previous status -- over and over. I think I need to disable the openaps-use cgm "UpdateTime" call -- or change the call to set_clock in oref0-set-device-clocks.sh, the only place I can find that phrase... Suggestions?

Wondering if anyone knows how to go about setting up a modified version of Loop that can serve as an offline solution for OpenAPS?
“For iPhone users, it is possible to setup a modified Loop app to bring data in locally such as the one you will find here: https://github.com/thebookins/Loop. This solution requires a build of an iOS app on a Mac and the use of a free Dev licenses (which will give you an app to test, but will only stay deployed for 7 days) or a full Dev license ($99/year). The modified Loop app will “listen in” for Dexcom data on iPhone, upload it to a scaled down version of Nightscout on your rig where rip is running. This solution requires some Mac OS and iOS savvy, and exploration.”

@Ashley112885 that is outdated. See the offline looping page for lookout/logger section that talks about xdrip-js on the rig for offline looping
If someone gets a chance, please Pr to remove that old section (the one quoted) from the docs in the meantime
@marafie no printed cases yet until we figure out best battery and finish optimizing, etc

That turned out to not work if you didn't have connectivity :worried: regardless @Ashley112885 (and was only a CGM solution, wouldn't provide the Loop as an interface to OpenAPS which is what I think you are desiring)
@kirkbysound nice job using twitter 😅 can you also paste some screenshots here showing NS where you see issues?

@N3FM yeah, we need to make sure that oref0-set-clocks doesn’t try to set CGM time if it doesn’t exist. You can just comment out that line if you want. I think there might be a fix already in a newer branch...

@dougboss which branch?
Jon Cluck
@cluckj
May 27 2018 16:15
That is 0.6.1
the master (and probably dev) oref0-setup.sh won't install properly on the >=4/18 raspbian images
there is a fix in 0.7.0-dev

Yep. Need 0.7.0-dev for a Pi 0 regardless @dougboss , but please see the Pr notes about not using it as a primary rig and making sure you monitor it closely

@danamlewis thanks for reminder , I'm just running through install and learning it for now ... Have Edison as primary. It's very cool though, the screen will be hard to not use ... Kudos to all the devs ...

Thanks, @scottleibrand . I changed the call in set-clocks to pass "set_clock". Although I saved the file (and verified the file was changed), I still see the failures. What else do I need to do?
The original "UpdateTime" is missing from the present sh file, but it is still displaying in the failure error message.

Did you install the packages oref0 (master)? Or dev? If you make changes to the code and haven’t already, you need to do npm run global-install.

RE: OFFLINE HOTSPOT: Hi! I'm having a really hard time following the docs for OpenAPS on using LOGGER. I'm trying to loop without using wifi or cell data for long periods of time. Is this even a possibility? I don't have a receiver. Just G5, android phone with xdrip and an Edison Explorer Rig. I set up the rig and the phone has joined the rig's network, but I think I'm missing a step or two. The phone doesn't allow BT tethering and I'm trying to use the Offline hotspot. Ideas?

@divishinating it's definitely possible with LOGGER to loop offline but as you say, it's a bit difficult to monitor what the rig is doing.
once the phone joins the rig's network, you can access the offline monitoring webpage using http://<rigip> from your android phone.
for logger to work, you'll need to disable xdrip+ on your phone.
