I need to delete log files as there is no space left on disk. What is the command to delete files?

Search the openaps docs, there’s a page on that.

I couldn't see it anywhere but a friend said it is 'rm'?
I think I have managed to delete some files...
Hey, is it significant that setup.sh is now showing --enable=' autotune ' with spaces before and after the quotes? (0.6.2-dev)

Autotune has been on by default in The last several versions

@ElwinABC I just encountered that as well, which led me here. The issue seems to be with the nodejs-legacy package in the install script, if you're seeing "E: Package 'nodejs-legacy' has no installation candidate" at the end of your error message.

for OpenAPS, master looks to be 0.6.1. on Edison, is it worth updating to dev (I assume this is 0.6.2) for slightly bleeding-edge production ?

I checked the docs but didn't see this edge case directly addressed. Does anyone have experience, or input, on how Regular insulin would perform with OpenAPS? I've got pretty high insulin resistance, to the point where I need to use U-500 insulin to not hit maximum bolus limits (or have to change a reservoir more than every day). It's only available as regular, not any of the rapid types. I'm coming from a 670g that clearly expects a rapid type insulin and would stack up microboluses until I crashed overnight. Increasing it's active insulin setting would just make it unable to combat slow rises. Would the bilinear curve handle this, given a generous enough "dia" setting?

@danamlewis @scottleibrand After running 0.6.2 with 754+enlite+pi0+carelink for around a day I can conclude its working as good as 0.6.1 for me. I had some issues with 0.6.1 when it's not connected to the internet it stops working after some time. I didn't investigate the problem yet and I didn't test with 0.6.2.
PS: no idea if this is the right channel to tell you beta-test results ...

@loztblaz A couple folks used regular human insulin successfully with OpenAPS back in the bilinear days with a high enough DIA setting. Not sure if the exponential curves would work better, if you changed the insulinPeakTime and insulinEndTime to their maximum values. Do you know from the PK/PD literature what the normal peak time of regular is?
loztblaz
@loztblaz
Jun 17 2018 15:25 UTC
@scottleibrand I don't have the info in front of me, but just knowing that it's been done successfully is enough to make me want to try it out, considering how low the barrier to entry is. The fact that I can... actually change settings with this is pretty attractive after a month of trying to make Medtronic's Auto-Mode work. Thanks.

And if the allowable ranges in the code for rapid-acting insulin don’t allow you to go long enough, you could pretty easily add support for a new insulin type there (probably call it “regular”) with more appropriate defaults and allowable ranges.

Fair point. Well, just made the jump and ordered the hardware, but also wanted to say I appreciate the heck out of everyone contributing to this (and other) community projects. Having options like OpenAPS when commercial products fall short of expectations gives me a lot of hope.

Hi all, My newly installed RPi 3 + Explorer hat running oref0 0.7 dev is not working proper with NS. It uploads IOB and pump data automatically but not basal. If I use "openaps upload" i will upload the lates basal to NS but only once. Do any one know how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

If it is this one: tail -F /var/log/openaps/ns-loop.log

@cluckj and @scottleibrand Thanks for your reply. I just runned the setup again. The rig is looping but still not uploading to NS. The ns-loop.log is saying: Starting oref0-ns-loop at Sun 17 Jun 19:11:02 CEST 2018:

Likely. It’s trying to detect the lipo battery voltage.
There’s a PR open to work around that, if you want to test it.
On the openaps-menu repo.

Not directly related to OpenAPS, but is anyone aware of community information on pump repair? My Paradigm 723 had the known issue of the motor pushing part of the casing out. I superglued it as a fix until I got a new pump, but if possible I'd like to properly repair it before starting OpenAPS.
Currently considering buying a higher firmware version of the same model and swapping parts around, but figured I'd ask.

Somebody´s European Veo just died, I fear. Trying to rewind but then motor error alarm instead: motor error, insulin delivery stopped, disconnect pump site... Taking out the battery, and putting it back in after a while didn´t help. Any chance to bring the pump back to life? (This happened after trying to get the battery cap off which has been screwed in too hard.)
loztblaz
@loztblaz
Jun 17 2018 18:52 UTC
Agree part swapping isn't ideal, but I'm intending to only do plastic case parts, I suppose I wasn't clear about that.
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Jun 17 2018 18:54 UTC
Unfortunately the case is molded shut, so opening it is likely to break seals and risk causing delivery issues.

@scottleibrand Since the RPI do not seem to have a '/root/src/EdisonVoltage/voltage'. I tried: openaps/oref0#751 but it seems as it is deleted (pathspec 'edisonvoltage-fix' did not match any file(s) known to git). Also tried placing fake data in monitor/edison-voltage.json (openaps/oref0#868). But it seems to get deleted every time the loop runs. So I guess I have to use a lipo battery.
