@scottleibrand I'm not sure where its all called at now a days. but is there any reason not to put the Dev branch of Decocare to master? That has one of the bigger advantages of the MDT CGM of when the CGM is above 400, it will at least set the CGM data to 400 instead of not putting any CGM data to the Rig, so it at least will allow OpenAPS to try to get your BG's under control. Which is extremely nice in a High Stress situation where trying to take the time to fix yourself is just a few moments you don't have.

Ben stopped maintaining decocare, and we can’t publish new versions to PyPi. If you can install what you need from source, that’s probably easiest.
We’d also like to fully retire the use of decocare in OpenAPS in favor of the Go based tools.

I tried to put the Go based code on an Edison, and it would not install. It does install on a Pi
I guess I'll have to dig into the code to figure out how to add the Nice stuff on Decocare to it.
And I'm not sure if it's a battery thing or not, I just got a shipment of new batteries, but It's looking like Master drains my 2500mAH on my edison in about 4 or 5 hours instead of the 14 i was getting before. Has anyone else said anything about Master draining batteries faster since new master?
I'm using MDT, so that does generally use more battery than other setups.

@Bender1061 haven't heard that - would try with different batteries? ditto for this is the first issue I've heard installing dev on an Edison

@Bender1061

I tried to put the Go based code on an Edison, and it would not install

that should work, what was the issue? There are definitely quite a few people running the go based code on an edison.

I'll try again when I get a chance. I just got new batteries delivered today, So I'll see if that helps. I've found over the years that after about 8 months, the batteries don't work as effective. and I'm not sure how old these batteries are.
Yeah I'll figure it out. I just had tried to install Dev, and it gave me some faults while installing the go code. and would break the Setup. I needed to get a rig running as a backup at the time. so I did not dig into it more. I'll try again in a couple weeks or so, when hopefully things slow down. Spending the Holiday working in San Fran. Where i will be working crazy hours. probably better to run master anyways. But thanks

trying to update 0.7.0 dev for my pihat, and i`m getting the following during the oref0 setup:

Options:
--model, -m Pump model response [default: false]
--autotune, -a Autotuned profile.json [default: false]
--help Show help [boolean]
--exportDefaults Show typically-adjusted default preference values [default: false]
--updatePreferences Check for any keys missing from current prefs and add from defaults [default: false]

Not enough non-option arguments: got 0, need at least 4
Could not run oref0-get-profile

get the same msg after rerunning the cd && ~/src/oref0/bin/oref0-setup.sh

Ive put together my first edison rig from all new parts. New old stock edison, new explorer board. Its working but it seems to fail to swap between wifi networks or between wifi and bluetooth ... If I unplug it, that kicks off the switch. Im running master branch. Im looking for ideas where to look to get inof on the issue. Ive confirmed that the wpa_supplicant file is the same file that works well on other rigs. I did remove the update line per the BT docs. What can I check ?

Hi Everyone!
I have been running an ios loop for several months now and about to switch to openAPS but my loop is not running:
Setup: Rig: Edison+Explorer board
Pump: MDT 554 WW-Pump,
CGM: none wich is working with this setup for the moment (libre with miao miao), but nightscout is receiving data

I downloaded/installed everything and that seemed ok (at least for me). But my pump log says something different:

Those 6b/4b decoding failures are warnings, not fatal in themselves unless they persist long enough to make all the retries fail. Same with the "required N retries" -- just hints in case your RF environment is noisy etc.
Please do add MDT CGM feature requests to my medtronic repo
I don't use it myself, so it will only improve if people ask for things (or submit patches, even better)

yes, if you don't have Enlite yet, you can't configure it yet. go with the default (G4) and it won't interfere (it'll just get BG from NS)

So for the last few weeks my edison powered rig has had terrible range. I switched to my backup pump but that didn't change anything. I still only have consistent range if the rig and pump are within 6 inches of one another. I tried re-seating the edison and the explorer board to no avail. I ordered an antenna which will arrive tomorrow but I'm stumped as to what caused the drastic reduction in range.

I have an edison/explorer rig with radio issues. It can't mmtune and both lights are on. Normally I can fix this by reflashing the radio, but now the reflash fails with " This code is only tested on CC1110. Unsupported chip id = 0x00.". This would make me suspect a hardware issue with the explorer block, except I now get the same error is get the same error if I try to use ccprog on any of my 3 edison rigs (and 2 are working fine). I even swapped explorers between edisons. The radio issue follows the explorer (as expected), and no edison is able to use ccprog. I've gone as far as removing the /src/ccprog folder and copy pasting the commands from the docs to make ccprog and flash the chip. No change. I have successfully used ccprog many times. I find it very odd that all of a sudden it doesn't work on any rig. All of them are running current dev. Any thoughts?
