Autotune advice needed please ... When I stated using openAPS last March, I looked at my autotune recommendations quite regularly and brought my pump in line - all good. As I hadn't looked at the recommendations for some weeks I checked them out just now and saw a MASSIVE reduction in recommended basals which I am certainly not confident in using. (I am running the latest MASTER but am a few commits behind). Is this something to be concerned about and if so, what steps would be advised? Do I reset my autotune somehow and start again?

Again, Im new to Libre, Nightscout and xDrip/Glimp. I wanted to here some advice:
What do you use to view data from Nightscout on android?
And can I upload data from my pumps Animas Vibe and Medtronic Veo 754 to Nightscout?
What pump do most people here use?

Reference my post above ... something is definitely not right as SMB seems to have stopped now. In this screenshot, the 1u correction was done manually yet SMB was clearly working last night and first thing this morning. I have updated my rig to the very latest master 0.6.2 but still bothered about the odd autotune recommendations - could these low values be stopping SMB from working?

@Alzibiff did you have a look at the pump-loop.log come? There is a note saying whether SMB is active or not.

@orbarya you can view nightscout from any web browser, like say chrome. If you're using OpenAPS the data would be acquired directly from the pump using radio communication. Most here are using older medtronic pumps because we need the capability to send commands to the pump such as setting a temporary basal rate. This capability was encrypted in newer firmware and newer pumps, and medtronic hasn't gotten on board with the open source movement yet.

Note that preferences have to be reviewed after running the setup script. Did you re-run oref0-setup or oref0-runagain after updating to latest?
(I have a pr on dev to remember previous preference, that needs testing)

@Ebgineer thanks for the answer! Isn't there an android client? Also, Until I setup an openAPS rig, can I somehow upload manually (using a cable to a pc) from Medtronic minimed 754 to nightscout or from Animas Vibe to Nightscout?

@alimhassan Thank you. Screenshot from papertrail indicates that SMB is enabled and that the rig is using my VERY low basals. Is it worth deleting the autotune directories? (and if so ... where are they?)
@alimhassam I updated 0.6.2 using <<cd ~/src/oref0 && git checkout master && git pull && sudo npm install -g oref0 >> As far as I can tell, this just updated the commits which were missing from my original 0.6.2 install.

@Alzibiff difficult to tell. Not sure what's the cause of this low basal
Removing autotune directory might be with trying but do so very carefully as it might drastically change the behaviour since basals are do different

From a practical - get me back on track asap - standpoint, I think that it would be good to go back to the basals in my pump and let the rig rebuild the autotune data.
Do I just remove the autotune directory?
From day 1, basals started to come down but were reasonably static until this odd change to very low basals.

@Alzibiff can you save a copy of the autotune directory for forensics?
Maybe mv ~/myopenaps/autotune ~/autotune-bad
That will put it back to pump settings. SMB will be disabled until the next autotune run, unless you mkdir ~/myopenaps/autotune to force it to SMB off pump settings.
Autotune shouldn’t be able to set basals less than 70% of pump settings. So unless you overrode that minimum in preferences, I suspect it was using a bad pumpprofile read.

@scottleibrand Thank you. Do you want my autotune directory for the forensics? Really odd all of this - it was all going very well. I will do as you suggest with confidence :-) Thanks again.

After you get things working normally again, I would recommend reading through the saved autotune logs to figure out when it made the big changes and why.
Happy to help interpret them as needed.

@wfeddern I was also having problems getting in touch with Enhanced Radio when they originally sent me my HAT without an antenna. I ended up reaching Casey (I guess he's the guy behind the operation?) by Facebook message, and he was really responsive and helped me right away. Send a message to this account : https://www.facebook.com/HamShield/

@acember Yeah, I sent a private message to the facebook account last friday and got a response over the weekend, so all is good. They said they will ship my replacement out today. Looking forward to getting back to looping again, was anxious about it at first, but once I had it going, it has been hard to not have it.

hello everyone, i am just about to place my order for rig parts, and i wanted to be sure the info that is out on the site is the best to use for now (https://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Gear%20Up/edison.html#hat). I will be going with the PiHAT setup. Is the 2000 mah battery still the best choice, or have others found a better/stronger one that works for them? Any advice before I place the order is greatly appreciated.
I did read through the docs, was just looking to see if anyone had some recent experience on the parts and had some suggestions that were not in the docs, thanks

I would get the 2500 battery as it stills fits into my case.
