@viq it almost certainly is wpa2 enterprise, also likely requiring install of a server cert. I have config for the wpa-supplicant.conf which works for many.
I spe t a
I spent a few days getting the config right on my Edison.

Hello, people! Can you please tell me. Which condition suggests edition to send carbreq push notification?

Please let us know if you have a more specific question about the algorithm after reading those. Happy to point you to more specifics (including links to the relevant sections of code).

@scottleibrand I looked through all the pages found, but there is no answer. The only thing I understand is that carbsreq sends only of carbs required.
*if
But how edison understands this condition
I'm asking this because I'm more then 4 months on openaps but I don't saw any carbsreq push notification or log note

I met more then 10 hypo... but there is no carbsreq :worried:

My current situation is the 722 pump+mdt cgm (enlite minilink), and I need carbsreq earlier, then most people, because my hypo can start even on any BG below 100. Minilink does not catch my rapid BG falls...

What is your target set to? Do you usually get hypos with or without COB?
konstkhal
@konstkhal
Oct 13 2018 05:32
Without COB even with negative IOB
Target 6,4

Can you find an example when the predBGs and minGuardBG were very low and you think it should have given a carbsReq notification?

No carbs are required there, because the negative IOB is enough to bring BG back up to target.
Do you have SMB and UAM enabled?

Yes
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand

And what version of oref0?
Probably need to find an example where BG is falling fast and the predicted BGs are much lower than target (below 4).

SMB and UAM enabled
It's happening right now, we need just some wait :smile:
Hah, "CGM data is unchanged for that past 45 minutes" BG - 104, what if I'm sleeping right now?

It won’t high temp (or low temp) unless it sees realistic CGM data. Sounds like you may need to get a different CGM that works better for you?

Maybe, maybe...
You can read the code to see exactly how it decides when to issue carbsReq recommendations.

Frankly speaking, openaps works good for me, but mdt cgm often does not perfect...

Currently I have BG below 100 (94), but openaps continue lowtemping (I think it's time to stop completely)
If you're looking to change CGM, I'm a bit annoyed but not overall unhappy with libre+miao, though I'm not looping yet (well, don't have a pump yet).
Which brings me to my question - anyone knows what are the differences between Dana R and Dana RS? I know Dana RS is newer, and has BLE which translates to much lower power usage on pump and probably on phone, but is there anything else?

You'll need a newer version of jq I forgot which script installs this or if it depends on your jubilinux version

@viq, @PedanticAvenger , @scottleibrand Thanks, guys, for the suggestions. As I mentioned earlier, first priority is to get my loop running at all, then worry about UPenn wifi. When I looked at the cgm-loop, it indeed thought at all of the BG readings were old, which I don't understand. I'm now back at home, where I can get BG readings from over the internet, instead of by plugging in, in case that works better. Running set-up again out of desperation...
@cluckj Philadelphia in the house! If you are a hardware person and think maybe you can help me, I will buy you a lifetime supply of beer and pretzels... PM me if you can --Abby :)
