@scottleibrand I did that and now the wifi is completely empty. Would you recommend re-running the bootstrap or trying to find the manual instructions for adding wifi (the docs have changed and I can't find them right now, but I'm sure I can if I keep searching)
at least, it looks empty when I type edit-wifi

it looks like your command is using a different editor - just press the i key and then you should be able to move around with the arrow keys, and edit the file...
press ESC when you're done, then :wq

@mhaeberli - if you're looking for advice about tuning, have a read of this: http://seemycgm.com/2017/10/29/fine-tuning-settings/ the same stuff applies for both Loop and oref0/oref1 based systems.

Hi all, is it possible to get a notification (via pushover or some other way) when my rig's battery is low or below a certain threshold?
would be really handy to prevent it from going offline 9pm ish and me not noticing
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Oct 25 2018 15:32
It should be pretty straightforward to script if you like. Don’t think anyone has already done so.
You might also look into Nightscout’s push notifications and see if any of them are suitable or could be modified, since rig battery is uploaded.

Hi. Does anyone knows if bolussnooze_dia_divisor parameter is in use now? I tried to find information with gitter search tool... but I must be very clumsy. I also check it on github and I guess all references to snoozeBG are commented on source code. Is it on profile.json for any reason?

@tepidjuice if you're running Autotune, it'll ignore the patterns on your pump. Did you get your NS setup resolved, or are you still stuck? If so, did you enable all the config vars?

related question, believe it or not - does the OpenHumans contributed data have any meta-data about WHICH CGM is in use - like G4 / G5 / G6 / Guardian-enlite, etc? (I’m thinking about looking at compression lows, perhaps initially among Dexcom data)

FWIW, at this point I've mostly stopped algorithm and simulator work. we still need to get 0.7.0 tested and released, but may not do any more algo work unless/until something changes. (new day job is far more interesting and taking up far more of my time, and there's no longer much demand for algo improvements beyond SMB+UAM)

@danamlewis, for full MongoDb issues, the dev version of Nightscout now has the ability to delete just devicestatus entries that are older than a user modifiable number of days. After it releases to master, I'll submit a script to Oref0 to use the updated Nightscout API to accomplish the same thing from an Oref0 command.

no reason not to run dev on the Edisons?
Scott Leibrand
@scottleibrand
Oct 25 2018 18:11
there was something that was fixed in dev about the timing of checking the clock and the amount of elapsed time before deciding whether to set the clock, where if it took too long it could mistake that for a clock mismatch
Martin Haeberli
@mhaeberli

@danamlewis yes I solved the NS issue. I was missing a space in the enable config vars :/ . I don't run auto-tune. I recently have set up a second basal pattern on my pump and it seems openaps isn't aware of it even when it's enabled for a couple of days.

So, I have issues.... after wifi connectivity issues I finally received my new explorer board last weekend, heaven! Seamless looping, not a single issue until yesterday... now the only way I can seem to loop is when the edison/explorer is not in any sort of case, If it is I get the error messages in the screenshot, as soon as it out the case it will loop fairly consistently. it's case is just a hard shell electronic case. New battery (changed twice!) pump and rig next to each other, have reseated the edison (twice!) numbers good when mmtunes. Could it be a duff board? it's all becoming very frustrating!

@mhaeberli Ok dbStats command is available by the API and returns dbStats.dataSize which shows uncompressed data in database and dbStats.fileSize which is the size of all the data files (assuming mmapv1 storage engine) along with a pile of other info. there are alternate Size values as well so these two may not be what we are looking for.
